Dramatic increase in rent in one year...

Overall, I am pleased with my apartment and community at the Marquis at Stonegate. However, it lacks some perks (free covered parking, a larger fitness center with more equipment, a pool table in a community space, televisions around outdoor spaces, a half basketball or volleyball court, a secondary dog park entry, etc...not all of these are offered at one place, this is a list of some that I have found) offered by other similar quality apartments I have viewed. The similar properties usually offer these amenities at lower prices ($800 to $899 for an upgraded one bedroom).

I think this is a good starter apt to live in for a year or two while finishing school or at a transition point in your life.

I would recommend the complex to friends and family but I have to warn them about the noise from the train depot nearby. I am frequently woken up on night that I keep my window open by the train because it can get loud at times. Granted, this does not happen when the window is closed at night.

still see dog poop around and people not cleaning up after themselves. Common halls are dirty and dusty - paint is peeling from stairwells.

I enjoy the area and the individuals that live in the community but parking is poor, otherwise, I enjoy the experience.

The parking situation can be extremely frustrating. If you have a surprise visit from someone, they'll end up having to park on the street to avoid being towed. Also, there don't ever seem to be enough parking spaces available.

I really did not observe any issues with this property. The construction of the toll road that will go close to this property will and has created issues of departing and arriving at this location.

Apartment condition and features not up to standards. Office and maintenance staff are very helpful and responsive, but can't overcome the condition of facilities.

This community is awesome, definietly the best I have ever lived in. The office staff is very sweet and maintenance always resolves the issue quickly.

I consider the community to be safe, clean, well kept and well managed and I think anyone I know would enjoy living here.

The community was beautifully maintained. The amenities were current with the decor and building. Great community for a great rate.

The rent was expensive, but the property was akin to others in its bracket. There was nothing noteworthy here. The main selling point was the view. There was no valet garbage collection and basic cable services were not included. I could live there, but I would not pay that much money without a few real benefits included with the rent. The apartment alone were lackluster.

I felt that the Leasing Professional was genuine in her desire to fulfill my needs for an apartment. She addressed all my needs as we toured the apartment. I did feel that she walked alot faster than normal. She did point out that as a resident I would love the week end breakfast activities and that made me feel welcome. The fact that maintenance was so readily available made me feel relieved to know that when something breaks or not working properly, I could count on them to fix it within a reasonable amount of time.

It is hard to have visitors because of the parking situation.
