Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

This community would be a great place to live. The amenities are fabulous and the property is very nicely located.

Poor maintenance, security, staff

After five months, very disappointed in apartment complex and will move when lease is up. Buildings are not maintained. Dirty. Halls, elevators, interior common area windows have not been cleaned in five months. Today I had to call because raw garbage has been sitting (in 100+ degree heat} for two days. Front office staff is too young and unprofessional. Priced way beyond services offered.

only here for the location

Pool is too small - dog areas too small

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

This community offers an ideal place that has both a fitness center for the people who want to keep in shape, as well as being very close to shops and the nightlife.

Okay.

I love the location. There's nothing too wrong with my apartment, but it is overpriced for the cheap materials it was made of. I've been here for almost two years, and it was one year old when I moved in. After three years, it already looks like the cabinets and appliances are about to fall apart... And I'm a single female who cleans often and rarely uses them!

Great location but issues with maintenance

Great location but noise from neighbors might be a bit much for some and the ability of the property management to schedule repairs from poor construction is lacking.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The leasing professional did an excellent job. However, having to wait over an hour to speak to someone past my appointment time was not acceptable. The agent I was to meet with left for lunch at my appointment time. The community was very nice but slightly overpriced for the size and amenities in the apartment.

Great location.

Great centralized location, but Inconsiderate residents if your apartment is adjacent to one of the dog areas, (unless you are a fan of barking dogs at 6am, or 1am.) walls are also thin so you can hear your neighbors pretty well, but most apartments are similar.

Convenient location. Mediocre apartments.

Very convenient location. Parking garage is a mess; the arms have been up for over a year now and I have yet to see them in use. The fee for trash service is a complete scam. Never have a package shipped to the office. But overall I've been happy with my apartment and don't have to deal with the leasing office much.

Convenient location.

I should have been told about the noise in the middle of the night.. I am "not" referring about the bars live music, but a retail restaurant (Tillmans) that thinks it's OK to power wash his trash through his back door in the middle of the night. Every Monday around 2am! I am tired of it and have videos recorded. already talked to the office manager but it looks like he doesn't care. If I was told about this, I would never moved here. Very disappointing!

Love the apt. Cant stand the trash outside my door from neighbor. Hours are never enforced after repeated request!

Nice accept for trash

Noisy and pricy for quality

It is a great area and nice living space. But the noise is accessive and you can hear everything the people above you are doing, It is not just everyday noise but slamming and stomping.

Good location; average apartments; Fire alarm sounds way too often

The location is good. The apartments are a bit overpriced for what you get - an average interior with far less attention to detail than I would expect for the price. Most of the staff is friendly and the manager is quick to assist when called upon. The fire alarm has gone off at least 8 times in the 7 months we've lived there - it is EXCESSIVE and may ultimately force us to move sooner than we had anticipated. The trash fee is a hidden fee - we always take our own trash out, but cannot opt out of the fee. We might be inclined to use the service if the rules were not written in such as way as to discourage it. I'm happy to discuss if further explanation is desired.

Nice Location & I like my apartment (but Expensive & Slow Maintanence)

1.) Maintenance Requests can take forever sometimes or be forgotten completely.
2.) I had a weird issue with the water charges jumping up to $60-90/month for 4 months, which was really sketchy.
3.) Parking during the weekends get rough sometimes as there are only 3 floors of parking for 4 floors of apartments in my building.
4.) Random Fire Alarms go off around 3+ times a season
5.) I don't hear noise from my neighbors at all because I am at the top floor, but a lot of my neighbors have complained about hearing stuff through the floor especially and the walls sometimes. Bad Noise isolation I think.

Overall, I really like my personal apartment. It has top notch furnishings and is super spacious. The location is nice for me. Also, it's nice to have LA Fitness downstairs. However, I think there are a lot of other solid alternative options that are much cheaper. At this price range, I feel like it is not unreasonable to expect maintenance issues to be taken care of promptly, and to have better sound isolation between apartments.

Great Locaion

Actually, I'm quite disappointed. While the location is great, for the amount of rent I pay I expect much more than I have received. Parking is TERRIBLE, and I have the noisiest neighbors (upstairs) that I've ever experienced while living in an apartment. Yelling, screaming, partying, and apparently moving furniture (or throwing it??) at all hours. The main reason I left my last complex was because of noise, and I have just as much noise here but I'm paying $300+ more in rent.
The design of the closet in the A7 is a joke. While it is fairly large, the door opens into the closet (the floorplan shows french doors) and it's a very tight squeeze. When I need to get to something on the side the door opens I have to step into the closet and close the door, and then I can get to things on that side. Very frustrating, and very poor design, but could be a VERY easy fix! If I had a place to put it, I would remove the door completely!!
The balcony is nice and large, but I can't put furniture on it until I purchase an outdoor rug so the legs of my furniture don't fall through the holes in the bottom. The balcony was designed to be aesthetically pleasing, but has ZERO functionality.
I'm not impressed with management, which is surprising because I've always heard good things about Lincoln properties.
