-Needs updated appliances.
-Washers/Dryers NOT efficient. Get a unit with connections.
-Pet policy is a joke. HALF NON-REFUNDABLE $500 deposit AND $40/MONTH. For what? I have no clue. Main reason why we want to move. NOT pet-friendly.
-Parking has gotten a bit ridiculous.
-Pricey after rent increase.

I found Walton on the Chattahoochee in July when I was first looking to move out on my own. I needed a place in Cobb County, but I wanted to avoid 75 completely due to my commute to Duluth everyday. This provided me both of those needs. The staff are extremely friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. The view is incredible. The complex is as quiet as any apartment complex can be, consisting mostly of post-grad/young professionals, and some families. The apartment choices are great, especially the renovated units. The only downside is the laundry services. Most units do not provide a washer/dryer, therefore coin laundry is your only option, which can get backed up and expensive quickly. There are units available with washer/dryer included, but are smaller than the standard size and cost $100 more. You weigh your options to decide what's most important. The only other downside is the cost if you want to have a pet. An upfront deposit of several hundred dollars based on the pet's size, and then a monthly rental fee as well. At this time, I plan to renew my lease in August. It's been a great spot to live!

Of course the grounds are gorgeous. That almost goes without saying. The staff are great and they run a tight ship. I have never felt unsafe in my 2 years of living here. The rental rates are high though, considering the quality of the apartments themselves. They're nothing special- you could pay upwards of 750 for a 500sqft studio with crummy carpet and boring finishes. For that price five miles away, you could get 700sqft with wood floors and granite countertops...and a digital thermostat.

I did not think there was much that could be done about it, but I waited at the gate calling to get in for about ten minutes. I am not sure if everyone was busy or what. Once inside, the property sold itself. The leasing office was beautiful and perfectly place. I felt the rental rates were a little expensive, but I did not know much about the area.

Wow, this community is breath taking! The on-site coffee shop with free wifi and computers to use! You actually see and hear the waters of the Chattahoochee where you can walk down, sit, read, think and be at home is AWESOME! Very impressed! The staff is excellent!

Enjoy breathtaking views and the tranquility of nature; take a solitary walk. The pool’s location in front of the river is very nice.

The leasing consultant was friendly and pleasant. His presentation of the community was admirable. The community was clean and very well cared for. It was apparent that all members of the staff take great care in the presentation of the community. I would recommend the community to others based on the presentation I received.

I felt very welcomed. It was a beautiful property with not only the perfect maintenance, but the people as well. I would love to be fortunate enough to live at such a place.

The drive into the Walton on the Chattahoochee was beautiful. As I pulled up to the leasing lodge, the view of the grounds and the river was awesome. The buildings were fabulous and the landscaping impeccable. The pool was stunning, set in this terrific scenery. The tennis courts were inviting.

The community was breathtaking. It was like visiting a vacation resort. All of the staff members were warm and welcoming. I would absolutely love calling the community home.

This is an older complex but has been renovated and looks wonderful. The inside has a few upgrades as well. The best part of this complex is the grounds. It has a wonderful pond with a fountain and a lot of grills and seating. Off of the Chattahoochee is the best feature of this community. There is a lot of ground to cover and relax and it has WiFi as well. It is like a resort and has a coffee shop. If I was in the market I would probably rent and recommend this to family and friends.

This community was outstanding. I wanted to rent an apartment even though I own my house. The view of the river and the stones were amazing and all the greenery. The leasing professional did an outstanding job and made me feel like he really wanted my business.

The community was a great community, going through a series of updates. I thought it was close to a lot of things and I would recommend the community to others.

The community has a lot to offer. The scenery is tranquil, the apartments are a good size and I could see making very good use of the outdoor space that is in the community. It is also close to the highway with easy access. The Leasing Agent was very professional, personable and knowledgeable.
