The agent seem somewhat distracted and unorganized at times. I do not think I was being sold on the apartment and was not shown many qualities that encouraged to make this community my home.

The management company did a great job training the agents. The community amenities were amazing.

I did not think the apartment was reasonable priced.

Rent is not worth it compared to better options in the area .... Limited # of floor plans, tiny kitchens, small apartments overall, very old buildings not updated at all

Only plus points are maintenance staff and the river park, river access etc

Pros:
- Beautiful place to live
- Always feel VERY safe
- Staff is very quick to respond to maintenance needs
- Friendly staff who will do everything they can to help
- Quick access to I-75 and 285
- Nice, clean apartments with beautiful views
- 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta
- Great location with lots of entertainment and restaurant options within 5 minutes
- On-site transfer option after 6 months for those who need a bigger apartment, want to upgrade to washer/dryer, etc.

Cons:
- Cost is high (but you definitely get what you pay for)
- No washer/dryer connections in many of the apartments, so coin laundry is your only option which is VERY time consuming and can be very expensive
- Pet fee is VERY expensive; non-refundable deposit AND montly fee
- Little to no storage space in apartments themselves

Overall, this is a wonderful place to live! I have no plans to move any time soon, unless something happens and I cant afford it. GREAT place for young, single adults or young, newlywed couples.

The riverside location is excellent, with a range of facilities including tennis courts and swimming pools. Maintenance is quick, competent, and courteous.

If there's one flaw, it's that some of the appliances (dishwashers and ranges) are in need of some repair, or have aged sufficiently to pose reliability issues.

I have lived on the property since 2009 because of its proximity to my work location. I can't imagine living anywhere else. Obviously the view sells it on its own.
Location, location, location.
Also can not say enough about the maintenance staff.
Ron and his guys/ladies will take care of any problem you have usually within one business day...immediately if it is a more pressing issue. The planned community events are also great, though I rarely can participate because of my work schedule, it's nice to know those options are there.
And again, location location location! It is surrounded on the right and the left and across the river by the Chattahoochee National Park.

Of course I have to list some negatives so as not to be accused of being a 'shill'.
1) The apartments are old. Period. There are some structural issues that rear their ugly heads every now and then such as leaking roofs (especially on the flat roof buildings) and small things breaking here and there.
2) Our building, at least has minimal insulation and 'sealing'. It is outrageously hot in the apartment in the summertime and freezing cold in the winter time no matter what we have the thermostat set to. again, the older building makes it difficult to insulate.
3) It tends to be quite the social atmosphere on the weekends. Many 'outsiders' come to use the pools (there are two which is nice) and the river access but this leads to some outrageous parking situations in which my wife and I often have trouble finding a spot anywhere close to our building. This is a problem when you are paying over 1K a month for an apartment.
4) Finally, the cost is a little on the ridiculous side at times. WHat we are paying for a 1 bedroom is a bit more than the price of many mortgages in the marietta area. Granted our apt overlooks the river/pool and has "upgrades", the cost is still a bit on the high end for the area. The water bill is attached to the main bill and since that 'merger' the water bill has gotten out of hand. The sewer bill is also attached and often outcosts the water biil. I just don't see how a water/sewer bill for a small 1 bedroom apartment can hit almost 100.00 every month..something is off there. Power bills also run high because of aforementioned insulation issues.
The only thing I'll say about bugs is that you live on the river...in Georgia..in the summer time...there will be bugs.
The good news is that every day. there is a pest control service on the property and if you have issues they will take care of it.

SO all of those negatives aside, I still would recommend WOTC over any other property of the Akers Mill/Powers Ferry "strip". The positives far outweigh the negatives and I am proud to call the place home.

I love living here, if only for the easy access to the river park area and all that that entails. If you're outdoorsy, this is one of the only places inside the perimeter for you. I wish the apartments themselves were updated a little more--they're not as nice for the price as some others in the area--but that's easily offset by everything Walton offers that no one else has. The place has a sense of excitement and community. I've been here for two years, and am about to sign, happily, for year three.

Excellent Place with all facility's. Great customer service

Love my apartment complex and the amenities. The location on the river and all the activities are way above the average rental. A young crowd and easy to meet people. If you work ITP on the Northside, then this is a good mix of being able to get in town easily and go the opposite of the traffic for your commute.

Only downsides and why I couldn't rate it an excellent overall and why it got average on met my needs is that it's hard to find units with built in washer/dryer or even hookups. Also, I know it's a big community, but the landscaping on some of the fringe apartments gets a bit neglected.

I was not able to answer the amenities questions because I was not provided a tour of them.

The customer service given at this property, was nice, fun, exciting and appreciated!

The community was beautiful. They spent a lot of time and money making the most of the community and grounds. The only thing I would change were the stair rails in the apartment itself.

This property is amazing. I felt that it offered everything that I would need and want in a home. It had a WOW factor which to me was the onsite Coffee Shop. It was very warm and inviting. I love the all of the beautiful landscaping and greenspace surrounding the Chattahoochee. I would love to call this place home!

I love living here; it's a beautiful complex with great amenities and lovely grounds. The one thing I feel that is lacking is a dog park. I have a small dog and he gets long walks around the complex, but I know he would enjoy to run with other dogs every once in a while. As it is, he has to stay leashed.

Otherwise, everything here has been great. Since moving here in September, I have not had any problems and do not want to leave! It's probably the best apartment complex I've ever lived in.
