I enjoy my neighbors and the fellow "dog people". I wish I had a bigger kitchen, so if that wasn't an issue for them then I'd say go for it!!

I would say: good value for the price, awesome location, great view. Overall apartments are kept in good repair and the complex tries to address concerns and make improvements to the community (things like adding a dog park and making sure there is sufficient lighting are great). On the other hand, the apartments are very dark and cold, and there's (apparently) nothing that can be done about this.

The community had a different feel from many others I had visited. The staff was very attentive and genuinely seemed to care about me. I felt like living there would make me feel more like a member of a tight knit community, rather than just another resident. The staff that I encountered seem to have a sincere affinity for the community that was very inviting.

I loved the apartment. I felt like the amenities were lacking a bit, but the community was still great. The leasing agent was outstanding.

Secluded, quiet, well-maintained and positive office and maintenance staff.

I like that it is a smaller community within a residential area.

I mention the high quality to people who ask and they are always impressed. But as soon as I mention the rent cost, they are immediately deterred.

Would let them know their rent could increase dramatically and leasing personnel have little to no ability to adjust. Rent is driven by a model that increases rent if few apartments of the type they are living in are available when their lease is due. Long term renters are frequently "penalized" by the model and sometimes have to choose to move to another apartment at the same location to get a better rate. Ridiculous way to treat long term renters.

I'd recommend the apartment complex for its physical features - it is a nice-looking place. But I'd put in a big caveat that the service leaves much to be desired, the advertised amenities should be taken with a grain of salt, and there are likely increases in rent. Overall, I think it's leaning a little more toward a "won't recommend" than a "recommend".

Would not due to arbitrary monthly rental increases

The increased rent. The poor parking situation. Smoking is allowed.

"Would" on account of nice location in relatively quiet neighborhood, condo spec, nice design, wooded location with little grass to upkeep (less mower and blower noise). If there weren't so many repair issues with this apt., my relationship with office staff would not have been so strained and I would have to include them in the "would" category too.

"Would Not" on acc't of only getting to spend the last 3 months of my 13 month lease with what I THOUGHT I was getting when I moved in here: a fully-functional apt. with normal water pressure, normal a/c, normal heat w/o waking me up, etc. etc. (see maintenance record; it's not pretty . .)

...and I have recommended this comples! At least one resident couple moved in after seeing my condo and hearing my recommendation.

This community was well located but basically was not noticeable due to being tucked into a wooded area. It was accessible to shopping and restaurants in the area.
