I have had good 3.5 years in this community.
Adequate, nothing special, old building, thin floors
ent is NOT in line with apartment quality. It is an old building with thin floors.
Office staff has not been stable. Return of 1 manager may help.
I am concerned they are raising rent, yet have now replaced their clubhouse furniture two time in the last year. They used to rent the club house out, but no longer offer this. The gym is adequate, the pool is basic (when open).
Maintenance staff is great.
One should be concerned that to get residents TO rate POSITIVELY they are offering gift cards.
I would recommend one look at other apartments before committing to the Marquis.

Rent increases are expected, but the percentage is always higher than what the competition does.
Just Great!
This is the 3rd apt i have had in the Cary area. It is by far the best. The Customer Service is far superior to any other apt complex in this area.
This apartment has a great location
My family and I moved here last October from the Waterford in Morrisville. We have been extremely happy with the level of service. Maintenance is prompt and pleasant to work with. The management team is excellent and quickly solves any problems you have. The room layout is a little strange (e.g., second bedroom's door is on the outside of the hall instead of on the bedroom), but the location is near shopping, parks, and running trails. I highly recommend this apartment.

Exceptional
New to complex and very happy. I was impressed with the management from the first visit. Everyone is very professional and a pleasure to work with. I was directed to Marquis at Silverton by a sister property to accommodate my time frame and I actually like this location better. The maintenance staff it top notch as well. Two days after moving in I gave the office a list of minor items that needed repairing. The repairs were done by the time I came home same day. I was looking for peace and quiet which is not easy to find in an apartment. I have found it here.

The only trouble that I faced was that my heater did not function properly during winter. The office and maintenance staff were helpful in trying to fix it but i think they might have to replace the heating unit completely(for the building) or get it checked. I felt bad asking them again and again. I just turned up my heat to 80 or 85 the entire time and ended up with high electricity bills but it did not make a difference in the heating in my bedroom. Finally I just bought a room heater for my bedroom. This could definitely be an isolated incident but I wouldn't want to go through another winter of the coldness :)

Depends on type of person. This place is mostly a quieter, more to-themselves type of tenant.

Since I’ve been managing, over the past 3 years, we have updated our club room, business center, movie theater, and fitness center in hopes of providing better amenities to our residents. New tiles were recently installed in the pool; however, it has always been opened before Memorial Day, closes at the end of October, and it is open from dawn to dusk during pool season. We appreciate honest feedback whether it is good or bad. You are welcome to drop by the office for your Starbucks gift card. We are simply offering them as an incentive for our residents to share how they feel, and for us to make any necessary adjustments.
