If you are looking for a new place to live, look here and you wont regret it.

The building itself is spacious and great. It is in a prime location, right off of I-35, which is convenient. However, the gates aren't closed as often as you would think. We have had multiple problems paying rent and bills. Most staff hasn't been professional towards us at all. And there is a lack of parking spots.

The Highlands South is a great place to live. I feel safe with the gated entryway, and I love that the apartments bring in a lot of sunlight. If I had any complaint, it would be that there is no fireplace in our one bedroom, and it gets pretty cold in the winter on the lower level - my electricity bill was pretty high for a few months and it really made me wish I had some other source of heat to accommodate.

The apartments are reasonably priced and nice enough, however the staff is very disorganized, as they have lost documents and made me come in multiple times for missed signatures, and my covered parking spot is, inexplicably, no where near my apartment. No remorse or retribution were offered when I was inconvenienced for their mistakes.

This community has a beautiful office. The office and grounds are very well maintained.

My family and I moved to Highlands on May 2012. We are very pleased with our choice. It is a great area and apartment is spacious and clean. Staffs are very friendly and prompt when we have any questions or maintenance request. Thank you

I would definitely recommend based on my short experience so far. The only complaint or disappointment would be the fitness center. It was one of the main reasons why I moved here. Currently you are down to 3 treadmils of which two work although need major maintenance. (Belt adjustments, one does not reset the stats when a new user starts). I originally brought it to managements attention a week ago. I brought it up again to the the apartment manager on Friday and she said they was aware of the issues and they were working on it. I attemted to explain what was going on with treadmills and she restated they were working on it. I stated I was patiently waiting for them to get fixed. .This issue has been a problem for at least 3 weeks...
Please address the issue asap.

This was a beautiful property with a secured entry. The landscaping was immaculate, and the office was beautifully decorated. There were many amenities and beautiful pools. The staff member was sincere and helpful.

This was a very nice community. It was well kept and the prices were reasonable. The community was very nice and very well put together. The apartments were a nice size. This would be one of the first communities I would consider moving to.

This community presents a comfortable and appealing atmosphere. It appears that it would be a pleasant place to live.

The community is huge and full of amenities beyond your wildest dreams. It kind of looks like a vacation resort with plenty places to visit. I think anyone would love living there. The apartments are very unique with a home appeal.

I was very, very happy with the whole experience. They did so many things right, one thing I did not mention the landscaping crew had several areas that were natural prairie grass and flowers, it was lovely to see out your living room windows. The leasing professional was very dedicated to the client experience and a very mature young lady. She and Lincoln Properties are doing a great job. It's a pleasure to shop their properties.

I felt very valued by the leasing agent. She focused on the features I requested. I was very impressed with the amenities available.

The leasing professional was highly energetic and confident. An upbeat attitude was displayed that made me feel very comfortable in knowing that the community had great staff members. My impression of the grounds when I pulled up was great due to its meticulous maintenance. Therefore, meeting such an energetic staff member just reinforced my thoughts about the community pride. The model was exemplary and had features that provided my own personal benefits like the secluded desk and patio storage for convenience. Pricing options were given which suited my budget needs in relation to my preferences, and the sense of urgency created by the leasing professional made the apartment seem worth leasing.
