No insulation, which makes utilities expensive. Old appliances and fixtures often needing repair. No light or fan in living room.

The culture of the residents is much lower than what I would have expected for the price that we are paying for the units. Meaning, I would have hoped that with the high rent that we could have expected a more mature set of neighbors and a higher quality of management.
Awesome staff and amenities
I recently moved to Firestone from out of state and it's been nothing short of amazing. The staff is awesome and more than willing to help with any of your needs. I was surprised at how professional and courteous they were.
There are many events like happy hour, pool parties, and weekend breakfasts that Firestone hosts; which Is unique compared to other apartment complexes.
Overall, Firestone is a great place to live, with an awesome community, and is located in a great area.

Although it has a great location, and some of the floor plans are great as well--and it's not the most expensive $/sf in the area, this is why I think there may be better options: W 7th is noisy, especially in the middle of the night; parking is an issue, unless you work part-time hours; the pool is often closed; you have to pay to use the clubhouse outside of business hours; although it looks nice from the outside, on the inside it's just like any other complex.

apartments are over priced and not worth the money when you could have better amenities and higher quality construction for the same price in similar location

Firestone is in a great location and has a pleasant outdoor area. The office and maintenance staff are very nice and helpful.

From the moment I entered the office, I was captivated by the uniqueness of the old building that was refurbished into an uptown leasing office and community. The office was classy and very professional looking. The on-site business center was state of the art. The gym included everything one would want in a gym including a full court basketball court. The pool and outdoor deck was fabulous with a waterfall that appeared to be at least 40 feet high. The two outdoor barbecue grills were large and all stainless steel. The availability of the clubroom for private functions was amazing. The floor plan for the apartments was very sufficient to meet the needs of the most residents. The location was a five minute walk to downtown and all it had to offer. I would move in there without hesitation.
