Property is beautiful

I do not like how visitor spots are very far. Also, i live in the back so i wish the backgate was open so when i park outside, i do not have to walk around the complex to get to my car.

Great place to live

This place is very nice, and as was expected the parking is limited, but that isn't too big of a deal because other than the possibility of your car getting hit while parked on the street which is uncontrollable, I feel like it is safe to park outside on the street. The pool is awesome and the only thing the gym is missing is a pull-up bar. Only time I hear my neighbors I live on the top floor is when they are inconsiderate and blast music with loud bass sometimes, but that is only due to the fact that they are ignorant. I feel very comfortable living here and would not consider moving to another complex.

Good option for the area

I like living here. It is not perfect, but I have no major complaints. It is usually quiet, and people tend to keep to themselves. If it's within your price range, it's a good option for the area.

A good place to live

The only problem is parking, but I've never had a problem when I had to leave my car outside.

Very nice property.

A very nice property in close proximity to the Medical Center.

Pricey but worth it

Melia is a beautiful luxury apt. Parking is an occasional issue but outside of that sad to leave. The units are beautiful, the pool is relaxing, and the gym is spacious. I love coming home to my apt.

Awesome place to live

I had a great experience living in San Melia apartment. The office staffs were very helpful and had no issue in last six months. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Great location

I like that we are close to the medical center and NRG Stadium. The spaciousness of the apartments and the safety is a big plus.

The location of this community is near the highway, which is a great plus. The style of the property is absolutely awesome. I would definitely love to live here. The apartment square footage for the price is fabulous. The pool is very attractive. I liked that the community is gated and you can only enter and leave from one direction. The landscaping is very appealing and inviting. The leasing staff that I encountered was genuinely friendly and willing to assist. I will be recommending this location.

The community was very quiet and clean, which is definitely something that I look for when leasing a home. I think that this community would be a great option for anyone to move into.

This apartment community was very clean, neat, and organized. The staff was very friendly and attentive during the visit.

The property itself was very nice, however, I would not have rented this property based on the interaction with the leasing agent. Again, I must go back to the point of her not mentioning the property is literally off the 610 loop. This is huge. Can you imagine being directly on the entrance to 610? This would eliminate fighting schools zones and all the other morning traffic.

This is a beautiful property located in a great area central to major highways. It is not noisy, and located on a side street. There is a great pool and hot tub. The fitness center is also very nice and spacious. I think I would be really happy living there.

Aside from having to move my belongings, cannot wait until my lease ends.

I doubt that I'd recommend San Melia to a friend. My second day here, my car almost got towed because I left my car parked against the curb while I unloaded shopping bags -- all because only a few parking spaces near my apartment are reserved. I had to beg the tow truck driver to let my car down and offer to show him my receipts to prove I had just returned from shopping and was simply unloading my car (as if my flashing hazard lights weren't a clue I wouldn't be there long).

My first six weeks, I lived with ants swarming along the kitchen countertop and inside the refrigerator, and my blender which I had to keep inside the refrigerator to keep the ants out.

Already, I had to sleep inside a sweltering (94 degree) apartment at 11:30pm two weeks ago because my a/c went out. Supposedly it was fixed, yet tonight I have the a/c running set at 76, but the thermostat reads 87. Cannot wait to see what my electric bill will look like because the a/c runs non-stop trying to reach the desired temperature.

Then my neighbor across the breezeway puts her cigarette ashes out in a pile in front of her doorway, then flings the cigarette butts all over the walkway and steps.

All this and I've only lived in my apartment since March 26, 2013. What's more frustrating is that I forgot to pay my rent until two days after the deadline, but no mercy was shown and I had to pay an approximate $110 late penalty.

Seems like contractual responsibilities only run one way. Needless to say, it is unlikely I will renew my lease once it ends.

Nice floor plan, very poor parking for guest, Good location

I would say its safe, quiet and nice. The parking is terrible and the tow people are very inconsiderate. My car was towed the first day of living in the apartments because someone was parked in my assigned parking spot and I block them in to take my daughter in to use restroom. The gate code dont work for visitors. The office staff is very kind and if you work in the medical center its a good location.
