I love living here.

The management is wonderful, and I feel perfectly safe living here by myself. The pool is great, because there is always shade for you. I love my backyard they built for me.

Great place to live and work

I am very happy living here. It is getting quite expensive for a single one/one, but a safe and nice place to live.

good so far

so far it is good experience

Clean, well-kept property

It's usually peaceful and overall friendly. People keep to themselves.

Friendly staff and great location, but a little outdated.

I have recommended the Park at Monterey Oaks to several friends and co-workers, and have even convinced one to sign a lease and renew it. The location is convenient to my work as well as two major highways, and it has good amenities. Monika (in the front office) is always a sweetheart and takes the time to get to know each resident. However, I would definitely recommend living on the top floor, because the walls and floors/ceilings are incredibly thin. For the first year that we lived here it was an ongoing joke amongst people who came over that the 90 pound girl that lived upstairs with two tiny dogs must be dragging bodies around it was so loud. Thankfully, at the moment, there is no one living above us.

Great place to live but needs to improve waste management.

It's a good place except for waste management....you have to pay for a valet service that only picks up trash four nights a week...precisely at 8:00 p.m. And you cannot put your trash out until 6:00 p.m. So, if your work hours/social life/errand schedule does not fit in those parameters, you have to take your own trash to the dumpster, but you pay $25 a month for the "service." Also, some neighbors don't adhere to the schedule so you have to look at their bags of trash over the weekend, for example. There needs to be more emphasis on recycling...also more emphasis on putting boxes in the dumpster or, at the very least, requiring people to break their boxes down before putting them in the recycling bins. The only other option is to have the bins emptied more often. In this day and age, waste management is important.

Clean, quiet, pretty, expensive, rigid

It's a nice place to live if you can afford it and don't mind paying for extra stuff you didn't sign up for.
