I love it, if only my upstairs neighbors were a little bit quiter.

I don't really recommend this property to anyone you'll see all kind of bugs in the summer, There is one water meter for 6 apartments, so expect to be paying for your neighbors high water usage the bills are not cheap Parking is ridiculous, don't expect to find a parking spot if you're coming after 11pm
not a clean place to live in.

IT is a nice complex and they are doing a lot to fix it up. There are some repair issues though.

It is not bad, for what you pay for.

When I entered the community I noticed that many of the building and garages were outdated and in need of repair. The grounds were not very well maintained. It appeared that the property had gone way past its update time. This location did not have any amenities to offer as the pool was in need of repair and there was nothing else to offer. When the leasing professional described the apartment, everything that she pointed out ended with the comment that the apartment I would lease may be different than the thing we were viewing. It seemed that there was not uniformity in the apartments. I would not move into an apartment unless I could see the actual apartment I was getting because there seemed to be differences among each apartment.

Nothing stood out about living here, the staff don't know anything about their utility online payments and If you miss rent one time they will slap you with a quick eviction notice and pay a ridiculous amount after a certain time. Maintenance responds fast and parking at night at times is a bit difficult. otherwise nothing special about this place.

It was good place to stay.

One of the staff members was very sincere and welcoming. The other seemed disinterested in much of anything other than what she was currently doing. The community as a whole looked very dated, worn, and not cared for. There were several buildings with missing pieces of siding, lots of debris on the roof, and the paint was worn and peeling. There were several garages that had wood jambs that were swollen and broken or split. It looked like painting had not been done in many years. There were obvious areas where wood was being replaced, but it was very little and almost all of it looked to be in need.

The garages were in very bad repair with holes in the doors.

The community was sadly in need of renovation. The landscaping was full of weeds and the parking lot and driving areas were full of semi-repaired cracks. There were dings in the garages and holes in some of the walls. Many of the blinds in the apartments were falling down or twisted. The entry hall into the apartment was very dirty and full of leaves and pieces of trash. The community was strongly in need of some care.

I've lived here for over a year now and many buildings have missing pieces of siding that have never been replaced, many of the lamp posts have never worked since I've been here, the drain in my building backs up every time we wash clothes, Outside of buildings are never cleaned.

It's not bad for the money but repairs are not being done. The sidewalk light in front of my building has not worked since I moved in back in December and now the big street light right across the street from my building is out. It is REALLY dark in this area at night now. It has been out for about 3 weeks and nothing is being done to fix it! Management puts out flyers about staying safe and watching for crime but yet they will not fix the lighting to cut down on crime!

Its ok but the buildings are old so you can hear pretty much everything that goes on in other apartments. Also people that don't live in your building will come and use your laundry room taking up the time that the actual residents need it.

Overall, Woodlands West is a good complex. It is fairly quiet and no one bothers me.
The streets need some work, holes and the large sink hole or whatever it is. Many of the streetlights in front of each apartment are out and have been the whole time I've lived here.
Washers and dryers are not kept up though. I have complained about melted crayons in the dryer but nothing has been done about it.
