Need any repairs t? The office staff has no problem letting you know its all about priority here and you'll have to wait until they get to you. We have lived in other new apartments but none of them were this inconsiderate or rude about their failure to complete amenities offered before move in. As a word of advice i think in the future we will wait until the project is completed before moving in to any apartments. Do not pay a fee monthly to submit payment online. Take a check or Money Order. to them personally!

NOT HAPPY
We moved in our new apartment on Aug. 15 and while we appreciated being able to move in on the day our apartment was promised, absolutely NONE of the amenities that come with the "package" has been available. We are a working family so the availability of the "24-hour gym" to be open only during working hours is of no use to us. The pool has been "going to open any day now" still hasn't. There is no "game room", no grills, no dog park, no common area, no car wash..... Here's an idea, why doesn't K-Rock have the contractors quit working so diligently to open new buildings to bring in more tenants to disappoint and work a little harder on pleasing current rent- paying tenants. Luxury apartment? I think not! It is the amenities that we are paying for now that drew us to The Shores! So far, not impressed!
I was the first reviewer on this page. I'm glad others are speaking up. This place is the biggest joke. I went into the office the other day to inquire about the pool because I noticed signage up and the fountain was turned on. It looks very inviting. Upon asking about the pool, Ciara proceeded to roll her eyes and make a tsk sound out of her lips. It took all my power not to say anything. They are so inappropriate. I also went to go outside of my apartment last night and a HUGE tarantula was about 3 feet from my door! There are bugs scurrying everywhere and on occasion they get inside our apartment. They have already come and sprayed for bugs 1 time. PEOPLE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I'm not impressed whatsoever!!! Glad to see I'm not the only one!!
And one more thing easytoplease! We have paid for a covered parking area that we haven't been able to use because the lot has been full of debris! It is covered with various nails, screws, staples, beer bottle tops (apparently from contractors) smh!
easytoplease1... I have seen them roll their eyes too. They never leave the office to do anything, but they will constantly put notes on everyone's door about dog poo and fines. So why is there still horse sized poo right by the trash area? It's not new! Here is a big clue for anyone who comes and look at this place... take a look along the walk way to the gym (inside) the walk and trim don't even line up near the fountain. They said they paid for the best and that just isn't true. They use an out door pluming pipe in the kitchen pluming, cabinet panels are missing,water line aren't affixed to anything, they don't even clean the units before you move in. Oh, and when we called to have them come out and fix our bathroom door (they only had 1 scr#w in the hinges) they just took the scr#w from the closet. Bedroom door scr#w... huge, closet scr#w... half the length. It ended up pulling right out in one use, along with the middle hinge that was now to stressed from hold the weight of the door. We ended up going and buying the right scr#ws and fixed it ourselves.

The apartments are nice, despite a few blemishes. Construction clean up upon move in was horrible. The office and sales staff are HORRIBLE. Everyone has complained about them. All the amenities that were promised haven't happened. NO POOL, NO DOG PARK, NO FISHING POND, NO COMMUNITY BBQ PIT. We do have red dirt and debris everywhere. The parking is horrible as well. If you have any problems and take them to the "office staff" it will be met on deaf ears. They are basically underpaid 18-22 year olds with no life experience and NO tact. I feel like the place is ran by teenagers. ITS RIDICULOUS! They act nice and sweet until you sign the lease then you are treated like you are an imposition. The neighbors collectively have inquired about the pool and other amenities. They were told by office staff that we are paying for our living space and that the amenities are just extras! Provided to us as a courtesy. So we have no right to really care when they are going to be available for our use. Ciara the office clerk is so condescending. Everyone I have spoke to that has moved in has NOTHING good to say about her. She is an airhead! I would seriously consider going elsewhere! . As soon as our lease is up, I will be looking to move somewhere else!
