This was a very enjoyable visit. The Leasing Professional was great and represented the community very well. The grounds were immaculate. Even with the drought, the flowers still looked great. There was even a small section of perennials right outside of the apartment. The Leasing Professional was easy to talk with and very relaxed and confident during the tour.

The value of the rent for an apartment was a good deal if you take advantage of all of their amenities.

The community was average, but during the initial process, something stuck with me. I had to fill out a blue card with my information. I was also required to sign this card with a Fair Housing disclosure at the bottom. This made me feel like the community has had Fair Housing issues in the past. I was very uncomfortable with this step. Also, I am not impressed with a community that makes me do the work by filling out my own guest card.

I would definitely recommend the community based upon my experience. The property offered basically everything I would be looking for in a new home. The floor plan I saw was spacious and offered plenty of storage space for food and clothes. Also, the leasing agent was friendly, kind and sincere. She made the visit all about me. The property did not offer anything compelling that would make me choose living there over any other community, but it was located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. In addition, all amenities were in excellent condition and the prices were quite reasonable.

I have lived at The Fairways for almost 2 years. This is a very nice community, close to the greenway, shopping, and 485. The staff is nice and helpful. I had to move in quickly, and I arrived within 4 days of submitting an application. I would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment. The 1 bedroom apartments are spacious with plenty of storage room and a nice deck. 

I was greeted with the attention focus on my interest. I was so please with the layout of the apartment I sign and paid my deposit right away. Since being their I have enjoyed the peaceful community and frequently shop stores all near by. I was really impress by the close and easy communite to and from by job everday. My attendence at my job was improve by 100%. I have since lost 7 lbs by going to workout in the fitness room, it is so inviting and makes me feel so safe there. My health has improved and I am not so stress and worried about where my car is outside. The neighbors are so friendly and kind. I hardly ever see them, but when I do I am greeted with warmth. There was hardly a maintenance issued because the appliances are so well kept. Spaces closets and kitchen cabinets everywhere. I especially love the high cealings and cealings fans keep me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The price for utilites were cut in half from the old apartment I was in. The Fairways at Piper Glen is truly a peace of heaven on earth. I highly recommend you visit, you will fall in love like I did.

The apartments are located in a wonderful location, right across from the Greenway, a wonderful natural setting for exercise and next door to a small shopping strip.  They have a nice size patio on the apartments and a very nice pool area.

I have lived here for a few years now and have no serious complaints. I am quite happy to live here.

Pros:
Management is very pro-active about issues and cares about the community and its residents!
Grounds are kept very clean and maintained.
The ladies in the office are very nice and pleasant to intereact with.
Maintenance is speedy, responsive, and polite.
Neighborhood is quiet and crime free.
Well lit streets.
Close to the highway and a nearby shopping centers.

Cons:
Market rate increases rent each year. (But this seems to be the case everywhere)
Parking space can be hard to find during certain times of the year.
Some units have older appliances.
Mail lady will NOT leave notices on your door nor bothers to bring packages on the truck.
Local post office is horrible.

Three years ago my husband and I began searching for a place to call home. We came across The Fairways and instantly fell in love. The office staff is very helpful and friendly, the maintenance team is very timely and professional, the units are gorgeous and spacious, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. We instantly felt at home and so will you!

I have lived here for almost 3 years and love it. Have a great apartment with a huge balcony. The location is close to shopping, lots of dining choices and Trader Joe's. (My favorite)

These apartments are fantastic! I love how much space I have. The floor plan makes the place feel like a home and not just another apartment. I have a huge balcony with a wooded view. The location is great. I have never felt unsafe here. Overall a great value in Piper Glen. I highly recommend. 

I was looking for an affordable 1 bedroom apartment for myself in a nice area and this was the best choice when it came to quality of apartments and affordability. It is located conveniently nears 485 and multiple shopping centers. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in this area of Charlotte.

I rate "excellent" for my apartment here!! Beautiful community, excellent view, cleanliness, creative "set-up" features large living room and bed room with sliding glass doors, large bathroom with double sinks and large mirror, air conditioning and heat within minutes for your comfort...(very low utility costs), balcony to view large parking lot, well lit for safety...in other words my "DREAM  APARTMENT!!!"

I moved to Charlotte about 8 months ago. Being new to the area I wanted to be in a safe environment that I can enjoy, and feel safe with a really reasonable price. The Fairways has been just that for me. The apartment is clean, roomy, plenty of closet space and in a great area. I rarely have any trouble, but if I ever need anything from the staff they are friendly and things are handled expeditiously. I am proud to call the Fairways at Piper Glen home and I would recommend it to anyone.

What attracted me the most about moving here was the location (of course) is close to major roads and I485. It's right in front of the 4 Mile creek greenway, there's shopping centers and things to do all around it! The apartments are pretty old but I think they do a good job keeping up with them, the spaces are pretty big compare to other apartments on similar range/area, the closets are huge and that's a big one for me too!

The girls at the office are extremely friendly, repairs and maintenance happen in a timely manner.
