The complex has declined in value to me personally.

The neighborhood is dangerous and getting worse.

Too expensive it’s not special enough for the price it’s just like everything else in Charlotte grossly overpriced for little value. And the parking is atrocious.

Hallways smell like cheap weed vapes most nights, but other than that, the Ellis is a great place to live

They're great at getting you in. Then you're stuck with inconsiderate neighbors in no-man's land and management that randomly replies to emails

Location can be sketchy

The apartment community consistently smells like weed even though it is advertised as a non-smoking community. The building makes loud noises during periods of strong winds due to cheap balcony banisters becoming loose and vibrating. The A/C does not work reliably. The Peleton bikes in the gym have been broken for months, you are not able to adjust the seat which increases risk for sports injury.

Great amenities, quiet place to live, and had a very reasonable rent price and renewal price. Although, I tend to be able to hear the neighbor above me every once and a while, but it’s not that big of a concern.

I’ve found management here to act entitled and rude. For having a lot of staff and concierge there sure is a lot they won’t do for their residents.. They are lazy and unprofessional.

Add EV chargers… location is a bit far from everything walkable and no EV chargers in this area are active now.
