The community was great. The leasing consultant did an awesome job. I would have leased. The community gave me all my needs, some of my wants and a little extra.

The staff were very friendly and pleasant, and the leasing agent that assisted me was laid back and relaxed. The property was very clean and the amenities were nice and well maintained.

The community is like most others in the price range, but it does have some nice differences. There is a racquetball court as well as the normal tennis courts and basketball courts. There is a cyber cafe area, a business center and a nice pool. The community also offers town homes. It sits in one of the state's affluent areas. It is just around the corner from a major highway, a major mall, two train stations, and a lot of shopping.

The apartments are very nice and spacious with the exception of the outdated kitchen (some units are updated, not all). The built-in shelving is great and there is ample storage. Noise insulation is not great, especially in the bathroom and if your neighbors have a noisy dog you will hear it. The gate is broken almost every weekend, which compromises safety. However alarms are included which is a plus. Getting packages is a pain in the rear. In this day when internet shopping is so common they really need to think of a better way to deal with packages. Perhaps an automated email when they receive it. I've had time sensitive mail sitting in the stacks and when asked to look for it no one could find it, when someone finally did it was dated 4 days prior. Probably the biggest frustration. Also, location stinks because although it's great you're close to the highway, you're close to the highway and have to deal with highway traffic all the time.

The management takes great care of the grounds. They have activities for the residence which is nice. At times the maintenance is a little slow. You have to stay on top of things if you get a package delivered to the office. Location is great. Valet trash is a blessing an a curse, and the back gate never seems to work right. All and all I think it is a good place to live.

If you don't mind coming home and having to look at splatters of trash on the walls and sever stains on the walkways from trashing leaking out of bags then its an acceptable place to live.

Its a great place

Take an interior unit connected to deck or unit that is closer to front. The parking is horrible in the back. The exterior of the units are not cleaned regularly. Convenient place to live. Will be interesting to see how freeway construction affects traffic. I think the rent is fair from what i have seen. Many units need upgraded though to stay current

Not bad. Reasonable rent. But, grounds are not well maintained. Common exterior hallways are stained and dirty, paint on railings is peeling... it is starting to look tired and dated. Also, They do a terrible job of turning the apts around... Not well cleaned at all, stains on carpet... carpet truly should have been replaced. And whomever painted the place should be fired. They did a terrible job!

The view of downtown was impressive. The community was well maintained and attractive. I would be happy to call this community home.

This community is located near plenty of shopping and restaurants. All of the amenities that the community has to offer would make it a nice place to call home. I would recommend this community to my friends and family.

Apartment is okay. Renovations were cheaply done. Front office does not handle re-occuring problems.

The apartments themselves are nice and spacious, especially for the price. However, the management is the most inept out of all the apartments I've lived at. Failures include:
- Not issuing receipts of payment for rent paid in person.
- Throwing all packages received into a conference room in the office, with almost no organization, resulting in "lost" packages with no record of delivery.
- No maintenance whatsoever. I have made 5-6 maintenance request in the year I have lived here. Not a single one was fulfilled. The management's only response is to tell me to keep submitting them.

It is the best bang for your buck, you can not find such a luxury apartment home for the square footage and dollar. I relocated here in October 2012 and researched 30 apartments, this was the first one I toured and after one other I knew this was it. The community is great, the location is awesome tucked away in the midst of the city excitement.

Living at The Overlook has been a great, easy experience. The staff has been very responsive and courteous. Amanda in leasing is the absolute BEST. Very happy to see an increase in overall security.
