WORST APARTMENT EVER

Absolute WORST place I have ever lived (worse than student living). The roaches (german) are bad but NOTHING compared to the rest of the issues you will face. My AC had broken 3 times and nothing has been done to fix it nor to compensate me. I was expected to live in an 82 degree apartment for multiple nights in a row because the staff was too incompetent to fix it. None of the appliances work and they will do nothing to fix it (I didn't have a working dryer for 2 months). Whatever you do, do NOT sign a lease here. WORST APARTMENT EVER!

Roaches

I've been living here for about six months and it stared out ok but went down hill from there. I noticed roaches around my sink but I would never keep dishes in my sink. Then I noticed them all over my one bedroom apartment. I bleach the place. It stopped for a few days then they came back. I bombed the place and I put combat inside the outlets. Once again it stopped for a few weeks then they came back. Went to the leasing office and they sprayed my place three time and the building like four. They are still coming back and this is becoming a major headache. I wouldn't advise anyone to live here granted it cheap but if you don't like bugs I wouldn't live here

Been there, done that, still here, love it....

I moved here six years ago. New owners took over 3 or 4 years ago. The apartments have been updated along with landscaping, gated now, plus much more but, the main thing I want to say is about the office staff. They are the nicest people you could ask for.
Hey would you still be living there

Park at Siena, your worst nightmare

In October 2014 me and my husband moved into Park at Siena in Brandon FL owned by Blue Rock Partners LLC. Only a week into our move in did we notice a roach problem. At first it was occasionally, my husband and I fully aware that we live in Florida and apartments are more prone to pests, especially if you lived in a building with dirty neighbors and the complex is older. At first we called the office to complain and they sent someone over to spray. What I noticed from our first experience with the pest control guys, possibly just the apartment's maintenance guys, is that the spray they use is all over the place. Wherever they spray is wet for hours, so you are sure to step in it. We also have a dog so our worry of him licking it up (not knowing how it would affect him) battled our disgust of living in the filth these bugs carry all over our "home". Since January (the month being May now) we have called the front office more than three times asking them to spray it down, and only really knowing them coming once. I have had maintenance men walk into my apartment without hearing any knocking, surprised, because I am walking around in pajamas at 8:00 am. The roaches got so bad, they were all over our food, in our FRIDGE, attacking our dog food, coming in and out of our outlets, toaster, oven, dish washer, bath tub, behind our fridge, sink, vents. My husband came home multiple times to me bleaching our apartment, throwing groceries away, weeping, because this was our home and what we had to live in. What we spent our wedding money on. What we spend a lot of money on monthly to cause more stress in our lives. We then called the residents office to ask them to bomb our apartment for the bugs. A man from the apartments pest company came and "inspected" our apartment. He tapped on walls and cabinets and proceeded to tell me "there is no evidence of roaches here" so he couldn't bomb the apartment. (Please see pictures attached) Since January our entire building has been "treated" once a month. Obviously so that on paper it looks like they are "addressing the issue". The roaches are still as fierce and lively as ever. On top of the roaches and the office not caring about you or your issues, the whole property is disgusting. The trash is EVERYWHERE. Our stairwell is disgusting. Our neighbors leave their trash out for days on end. My sweet dog is infested with fleas while being medicated. One night recently, I was laying in bed when a roach literally crawled right over my face. My husband and I proceeded to call Blue Rock Partners LLC, the company that owns Park at Siena, THREE times, messages left, with no call ever returned. I have gone on their website countless times, using their "messaging" system waiting on an email or phone call from someone. I have sent ATLEAST 3 messages. With, surprisingly, NO RESPONSE. My husband and I set down three glue traps (or roach motels), one behind our fridge, one in our bathroom, and one under our dishwasher and left them for a week. Attached are the pictures from the traps. The most infested one being from behind our fridge. WHERE WE STORE OUR FOOD. WHERE WE EAT. We came to the conclusion that the only thing we can do is wait until our lease is up. Recently he and I have fallen in love with an apartment, the move in date for the first available one being in September, with our lease being up in October at Park at Siena. We contacted Blue Rock Partners LLC, and SHOCKINGLY they answered. We told them our situation and complaints, all we asked was to get out of our lease three weeks early. They gave us the managers number for Park at Siena and we contacted her. She said that before she could approve or deny it that she would need to come inspect our apartment and let us know by the following day by noon at the latest. The next day around 2 o'clock (noon at the latest right?) she called my husband to say that she only "saw a couple roaches" so was denying our request. A couple meaning "4 in the last 10 minutes", so please imagine how many we see in a given day. My husband and I are not people that complain. Mostly we deal with whatever is being thrown at us and deal with it (bad service with a company). This has gone too far. I hope that you will read this and not spend your money at any apartment owned by these people, especially Park at Siena. A home is supposed to be your sanctuary, where you relax and unwind. Not somewhere you stress being in. I am heartbroken at the way we have to live and the way that we are being treated. I didn't want to do this, but now I am on a mission to make sure that everyone knows how poor your customer service and upkeep of your properties is. You have gained two more unhappy, a word that doesn't even come close to the way we feel, residents.

roaches. roaches. roaches

I moved in last year and I've been fighting this battle with roaches. It died down a bit then two people moved out and they went crazy. Not to mention Park at Siena raised the rent here "to meet the area" prices. I've lived in other apartments in the area and they didn't have bugs, their gates were always locked and they were better taken care of. When I signed the lease I had to wait two more weeks because they gave us the wrong apartment. They've since changed around some people but their issues are still the same. I can't wait to leave this place and never come back. Oh and I've been on a "waiting list" for a window screen for about a year now because they can't even get that right. I had a leaking sink for 2 months because I kept getting a run around on that. Any new maintenence person always says how poorly this place is run. Don't move in, it's a waste of time and money.

Run, don't walk away

Living here has been a complete nightmare from top to bottom. Roaches from day one. Maintenance issues. We broke the lease. Would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

First starter home for a college student

Its affordable and in a free crime area, but the apartment itself is infested with roaches. You can call and ask to spray but then they tell you oh we have to wait a month before we can spray again, but theres roaches crawling the kitchen, shower, and over your bed sheet while sleeping. Thats not how someone should live with constantly dealing with roaches and crawling in your dishes.

Thinking about to move in

I'm planning to move in on December hopefully everything goes on while at that apartment. Every review I read it's say roaches.
How do you like? The apartment

Worst experience ever!

Ive lived here for 6 months and let me tell you I am counting Down The days till my lease is over and I can get out of this place. Yes is cheap for the area but that's about the only positive. Roaches, Horrible costumer service, Horrible management, slow maintenance turnovers, loud neighbors slamming doors. Ohh and don't try to send a concern letter to Blue Rock because they wont be responding. The staff and management here don't care anything about their residents. They will tell you whatever you want to here to get you to sign the lease. Show you upgraded apartments, tell you that you will have an upgraded apartment then when you get your keys it's dated and nothing works properly and not what they told you it would be. Run far away from this place.

Deserves better ratings.

Had some issues initially when moving in, but everything was resolved and taken care of right away. Blue Rock Partners really is doing the best they can to make this place a better place to live, as in the past, before Blue Rock took over, this place had a mediocre reputation.

There are signs posted around the facility expressing their dedication to taking care of their tenants, and they really have proved that to me in the past few days. Jeanette assured me that everything would be taken care of, and it has been. Genesis is extremely friendly in the front office and has been a big help in getting settled in, as well.

The complex is definitely on the up and up. Seems like they are really trying to give everyone a better quality of life than they had when managed by the previous owners.

There are nicer places in Brandon, sure, but this place really is great, it's affordable, and they don't just tell you how great of a company they are, they show you with their actions.

GREAT JOB GUYS!

Not worth the money Not like other park @ property

Roaches roaches roaches. These other people are NOT lying to you! To further my experience...Loud parties. Vibrating walls. (Thin walls means you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors say and do Equals No sleep.) Trash. Dirty hallways. Trash in ponds. And slow work orders you have to harass them to get done. I moved in May 29th. And here it is Aug 18th and I am STILL putting in requests (just put in 3) to address issues I ve asked over 10 times in person and with electronic request...even from before I moved in. Took them 2 months to replace a faulty drawer. It was not addressed for a month and just a hole for a month. I have no screens my windows wont open. I have a guest bathroom door that will not shut or lock. I have not been able to have any one over because the roaches pop up anytime any place and its humiliating. I bought the traps. I poured boric acid powder around the floorboards. I got the MILAN floorplan with the room mate set up. Bedrooms and bath on opposite sides. Same as the model they show. It comes with no pantry. (Who DOES that?) I had to make my own by converting the coat closet when you 1st walk in, to have 4 wire racks. I never saw any roaches in that closet. And so far it works. I have to wash dishes, pots, pans, silverware, cups, glasses, etc before putting them away and again before I use them. I bought a bunch of plastic snap shut air tight containers and put everything in different ones to protect from roaches. A huge tot efor my cleaning supplies paper towels and toilet paper. This is not home. I feel like I am living in a low quality hotel!

stay away

the worst place to live in and the service is horrible if you have a family and you love them do not moveing stay away from this place nothing for you here

Run! Do NOT move here

I've had issues since the first day I moved in. As soon as I got my keys and enter the apartment what do I see, a roach! It was infested. Immediately called the leasing office, they would send pest control. Well I got up one morning and it was one in my refrigerator! I freaked out!! Called the office crying, wanted to talk to the manager. I had already told them they were living in the fridge and they didn't believe me, just kept sending pest control which was not doing any good. Got no where with the manager so I called corporate. Explained the situation, I got a new fridge and guess what, no more roaches! Then I get the nasty loud neighbors who leave their trash outside of their door for days at a time! I call the office complain, complain, complain. Doesn't matter, they still do it. This has been the longest lease of my life! So happy it is up next month, cannot wait to move. They try to draw you in with the fancy leasing office and model apartment, the one I was shown is not even the one I ended up with so that was another disappointment. Management is horrible, neighbors are horrible!! STAY AWAY!!!

!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!

Please don't move here. Just like last posts....ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES!!!!!! When my family and I moved here, everything was fine. Then little by little roaches started appearing. We had pest control come 6 times for the past year and still not working. They appear in the kitchen, bathrooms and now Master bedroom. We have to spray every night and morning. My father has used silicone to seal any type of cracks, in the cabinets. We clean inside the cabinets every weekend and still no luck. And also the hallways are dirty. Never cleaned. My father had to sweep and mop the hallway himself so it can look nice. The floor plans for nice and spacious but not worth the mess. Thank god our lease is up next month. We already let the office. Can wait to move out.

Roaches

I have lived here for almost two years and nothing has changed. The roaches just keep coming. It is foul. They have put money in upgrading the leasing office... Don't let that fool you. They will show you an apartment and when you sign the lease and get the keys , it's not what you signed for.
