It is nice place to leave with family, well maintained apartments.

Noise is rampant. You can hear your neighbors from all sides, conversations, laundry, and doors slamming. Heat insulation is terrible as well which causes the electricity bill to be high. There is no visitor parking, so difficult to find parking near the building on the weekends. There is barely any outside lighting, making it seem very unsafe for single women to walk around. Maintenance barely responds to requests properly. The complexes are made of old wood, and the buildings overall seem very unstable. This also applies to the balcony. The buildings also look very dirty on the outside, with several bugs and insects around. The showers inside the apartment creak inside when you step in them, the mailboxes are at the end of the apartment complex despite being so far from many of the apartment buildings. Dumpsters are also very far.

Living at Copper Spring generally has a very quiet atmosphere. One of my favorite things about the property is how it's in the midst of nature with each of the buildings being surrounded by tall trees. The apartment space in terms of size is just enough room myself. The appliances are overall very adequate, with maintenance request responses being very timely. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Maintenance always has something to say why they didn't do something
Staff -- Mark the Manager is friendly but not direct with his staff in getting things accomplished way over his head in his job
Overall - if the rating system was a 1 to 10 I would give it a zero and I will tell other people about living here
I still laugh when Mark said when we moved in this is a luxury apt complex -- Mark needs to go see a luxury apt complex and then see how he needs to runs this luxury complex shame on his boss
oh Mark's Manager friendly on the phone but did nothing for us with our situations when we moved in it was like she hears from tennants all the time I was just another tennat complaining

Such a wonderful apartment i ever stayed in USA. Since my job change to different state i need to vacate otherwise i won't leave as long as i stay in Richmond. The Staffs are very friendly and helping timely.

The amenities are very good and the apartments are very good. Peaceful place and nice view.

The people keep to themselves and it's what you would expect from apartment living. Not a lot of riff raff living here, if any which makes it a bit safer than other places. If you want to pay for safety, then you are at the right place.

Warm, Clean, Quiet and Green

The surroundings and landscaping of the apartments are nice. The quality of the apartments seems to be hit or miss but service is very quick and nice. The amenities are great. The location is great. Heat AC in the ceiling means higher electricity bills.

Good Place to Live

You can here neighbors from one floor to the next and anything going on outside of the apartment. The breezeways are not maintained often. Parking is not monitored. Fixtures in the apartment are old and the carpet did not appear to have been replaced before I moved in. If not for the inconvenience of having to move, I would leave.

We spend a wonderful time here, any issue was attended in timely manner.

Only inquire now, when leaving, is that online web page still shows that we did now paid comple last payment, what is false, we paid it all... We send an email but not response since April 2nd, 2015

I would recommend Cooper Springs but would warn about the lack of insulation on windows and doors. Hot water is limited in the winter. The leasing office personnel are friendly and very helpful. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. The maintenance team is average. They are knowledgeable and true emergencies are addressed timely. A substantial amount of the general maintenance of the apartments however is left to the resident to repair. The leasing office will supply the needed supplies but it is ultimately the residents responsibility. Overall the apartments are beautiful and the staff is helpful and friendly, but the rental rates are very high which I have been told is because of the location.

I like living here, however they are very expensive. I feel that they should give incentives for their loyal tenants and not jack up the rent every chance they get. Also the windows leak, so in the winter months you have to winterize the windows very well and purchase a space heater in order to save on your dominion power bill. At times parking can be a pain too. There is particularly one section of the complex that requires parking passes because there are so many buildings condensed in one area where there is limited parking, however this is not the case for all buildings. Most of the time I have no problem finding parking but occasionally I run into that issue. Otherwise I love the community, I feel safe and it is in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and recreational activities. It is also in a central location and you have quick access to highways to get to where you need in a timely fashion.

I truly enjoyed visiting this community. The leasing professional was very personable, and above all the apartment was beautiful. The apartments were not very large, however the space was utilized in a great way and was very updated.
