Very convenient

Although this community was a little older than others in the area, it was well kept and clean.

It's nice and quiet. The neighbors are pleasant. The property is well cared for and landscaped nicely. The clubhouse and walking trail are a big plus.

The only drawback is the price.

Wonderful location. All in all professional staff. Mostly nice neighbors.

Reason I would not: 1) No dog park 2) Maintenance does not respond and make repairs in a timely manor 3) You get too cheap and do not repaint and replace carpet before someone moves in. Yes you saved some money up front, but when you lose a tenant over it, the cost is higher to you. 4) You need more covered parking spaces. There are so MANY new apartment complexes in Dallas that offer so much more for the same price or less.

Those I have recommended friends to the Village, but they have moved to one of the newer facilities (Dakota, Westside or Northbridge).

Would: Its safe, village patrol is nice. It's in the village, the location is great. The online system is easy and convenient, except for response time to email submittals. It's a quiet complex.
Wouldn't: Its older, the appliances are very dated, its entirely carpeted, and lighting is not the best. The parking situation is not ideal and often lots are full at night. There is a pet rent on top of your pet deposit. There is always poop on the ground, so people don't clean up after their dogs, There are not enough doggy clean up stations. There are not enough recycling dumpsters.

There are no tailored activities for children and families, this is a community that focuses on college life, parties, alcohol, fun, etc. Having so much green space, you think there would be a playground, or a sand box or a swing set, yet nothing is in place for the little ones.
The children cannot play in the green areas near the apartments because there is dog feces. There are no rules established for people to pick up after their dogs, and it is not enforced.
The noisy neighbors can get away with disrupting families and management does not look into noise complaints, or at least does not act upon it.
