I like my apartment and patio. The service department is out standing in BlueRidge and the office. I love the idea of all the amentities but rarely use them. The grounds in the summer are full of flowers and that is what brought me to Palomino and the front gate. I wish I had new countertops and stained woodwork. As others suggested window cleaning would be great. I cant take the screens off. A great place for older people. I hope they don't price me out.

I understand that with the door trash pickup recently put into service trash fees are going to increase when lease is renewed. I can take my own trash to the receptacle.
I live on the second floor and there is no way I can clean my windows. Think this should be done by mgt. once a yr.
I have not seen any outside building maintenance in the two years I have been here. The wood on my deck has cracks that need to be caulked and painted.
There are a lot of seniors on this site and I think more could be done as far as activities for them.

neighbors let the animals poop in the yard, upkeep is minimal, not impressed!

Features are great such as the pools, gym and open space. The quality of the apartment units is just fair. Insulation is poor and windows aren't tight. In the winter, one bedroom is very cold (needs a space heater) and in the summer that same room is very hot (needs a fan). Management seems to know this because they post signs saying residents should keep water dripping and not turn furnaces down in the winter (at the resident's expense, of course, since residents pay their own utilities). Appliances in our unit are getting old and should be replaced soon. Faucets leak frequently, but maintenance people will come and fix them. The maintenance people are awesome - really good and very friendly. Sometimes they are hard to reach because services calls get routed to the office and service people don't always get messages in a timely manner. The unit layout is nice and there is lots of closet space. Front gate people are great - very friendly and helpful.

Having lived at the resort for nearly 8 years I can only say good things. The sense of security being a single female is comforting. Gated community, restaurant and bar on premises, gym, basketball, volleyball, swimming, indoor golf, community events...just to name a few...and we are right next to a golf course. Agree with other reviewer that this is an older complex and some of the fixtures, paint and upgrades are lacking for long time devoted leasers....but I am not sure I would want to live anywhere else.

I've been living in Palomino for 3 years and it's one of the most fun and enjoyable atmospheres of any apartment I've ever rented. It's really a diverse community with all age levels and family compositions. As a dog owner, I couldn't ask for a better set up. My apartment is a few yards from the golf course with a million dollar view of the mountains, and just a short walk to the Palomino dog park. With the gated access, I also feel safe here.

Love the complex and the people who work there, but I am disappointed with the build-quality of my apartment; specifically the insulation or lack thereof. Very drafty downstairs and the poor furnace has to run practically non-stop to keep it at 65 degrees in the winter. Summer weather the A/C was very inefficient and had to be serviced multiple times. I am sure Excel Energy was pleased with the monthly bills of $250 or more. I however, was not.

What appealed to me was the main clubhouse (Ironhorse) and a gated community. The grounds are well kept. Rent has continued to go up each year, but the units are dated and are in need of updating. To me, it seems that Palomino Park is resting on their laurels from years past when this community had a great reputation.

I also chose the subsection of this community because dogs were not allowed and now they are. Management is not as responsive as they could be to these items. Still a decent place to live, but becoming more expensive than it's worth.

Thought it was great for a while then we realized how average it really is. Hot tub works about half the time, gym is crowded, half the time I was shoveling my own snow (you pay for them to shovel for you). Requested for some blinds to be fixed about 8 months ago, Palomino told me they were on order and to this day, they still remain broken. Build quality is average. Can take a while to get in and out of, depending on where you live.

I renewed my lease to extend for another year at Palomino Park. Palomino Park came highly recommended upon my move from Dallas. It was the perfect setting for the vibrant grandpartents that we are! The exercise facility, the on site Cafe, 24 hour manned security wer all a plus for us in addition to the choices of communities within the resort. We initially leased at Green River for the great mountain views (who would move to Colorado and not want mountain vistas?!!!) We just recently moved into Red Canyon. Both apartments were just what we needed. I will remain a resident of Palomino Park for as long as I remain in Colorado.

We have been living here for over 6 months and we are loving it. Our only request for maintenance had a very quick and professional response. Our children enjoy having places to go within the complex. They specially love the movie nights the administration puts together for the residents. Great Community!

The apartment and community amenities were exceptional, especially for the rent. It really is a resort style community and others do not compare that also describe themselves as resort style. Along with all that is included in the apartment community, you never even have to leave the neighborhood.

I think that it is an awesome community. It would be more like living at a resort as opposed to an apartment complex. The amenities were amazing. The apartments could use some updating on the fixtures as well as the paint but overall were very nice. The price was reasonable and affordable. The community is unique and was a fun experience for me to tour.

The community was very nice, with excellent amenities. From all appearances this is a superior community. I cannot offer a comment on the apartment as I was not offered a tour. The customer support I received was good, but appeared to be limited due to the lack of available apartments.

This community is like a resort. You could not ask for more. In addition, the apartments are really nice.
