Former Tenants - has anyone who moved out at the end of their lease on July 31, 2015 had any issues with The Verge Management, for example - being charged for cleaning/damage/painting without a joint inspection!

Future Tenants Be Warned, when doing your move in inspection make sure you list everything, and I do mean everything that is wrong with your bedroom and common area. Get a separate sheet of paper, do not assume the check in sheet they give will be enough space and make a COPY of what you turn into the leasing office. Note every little hole, scratches, marks on the walls, every piece of lint, dirt, or stains on the floors or carpet. Bent or broken window blinds, dirty windows. Anything that is dented, broken, cracked, chipped, dirty, shoddy paint job. The furniture is cheap and will already be in need of repair.
ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING no matter how minimal you may think it is.

Remember the Lysol, spray the mattress, bathroom, furniture, everything…ewwww!

I guarantee you the Leasing Manager at The Verge will absolutely make you pay when you move out. No discussion, no reasoning, you WILL BE responsible for any cleaning charges or damages that existed prior to you moving in, if you cleaned Management will say you didn’t – protect yourself!!

Also, the “model” apartment that they show you is NOTHING like the actual apartments.
