Beautiful apartments, great community!

The first time I toured this apartment complex, I cancelled all of my other appointments for the other communities I was looking at and signed a lease the next day. This development is gorgeous. The apartments have convenient layouts, an in unit washer/dryer, a beautiful pool area with cabanas, and the buildings and lawns are built to be as dog friendly as possible. There are doggie pick up stations at every convenient point and sprawling courtyards to relax in. It feels like a small, close knit village.

The parking is extremely convenient as well, and blocked off from the general public so you are always guaranteed a space. Depending on what building you rent, there are separate parking lots for each one so you never have to walk far to get into the building. The Village at Leesburg has their own security as well, so there is always a guard patrolling the area. Each building is controlled access, which makes me feel extremely safe.
Perhaps the greatest thing about living here is the ability to walk to everything you could ever possibly want or need. All of the shops, restaurants, groceries, move theatre, and bars are within about a minute’s walking distance; I haven’t had to drive to get groceries in months. There are grills by the courtyard around a comfortable sitting area, and a great game room with pool and foosball. There are events in the town center during Holidays; they had several massive ice sculptures to celebrate the Sochi Olympics, a Ferris wheel and a traveling quartet for Valentine’s Day, and horse drawn carriage rides.

There are occasional events in the main building by the leasing office just for residents, with free food, drinks, and raffles. There is a real sense of community in the Metropolitan that I haven’t experienced anywhere else, it’s the kind of place where everyone knows your name. The leasing agents and management are absolutely lovely and will respond to absolutely any questions or concerns you have about the apartment, building, etc. They will always listen to you and make changes to ensure you know you’re being heard. They’ll make themselves available to you to ensure you’re happy. I’ve felt comfortable approaching the property management (Monica Starr) with just about every question I had- and she has responded quickly and professionally.

The facilities are great as well- the very few issues we had during the initial move in were addressed immediately (as in, the day it was requested). During the snow storms this past winter, they worked day and night to clear the pathways and cover them in dog-friendly salt to ensure we’d be able to get around.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this place. Most of the neighbors I’ve gotten to know have lived here for years, and I can certainly see why.

Outstanding!!!!!

I LOVE living at Metropolitan at Villages of Leesburg ("Met")! I have lived here for almost three years. My apartment is big and beautiful. I do not live in the middle of the town center so my apartment is extremely quiet. I traded the excitement of that area for the quiet of one of the side buildings. You should consider that when renting or you might believe the buildings are noisy when they really are not. The Met is animal friendly, and there is a very large park like area where I can walk my dog. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is delightful. The inside of the building is immaculate. The Met hosts pool parties, holiday parties, and has other similar activities for it's residents. I LOVE them! The food and drinks are always fabulous. And when my 10 year old nephew comes to visit, watching movies on the big screen in the media room is always on the "to do list". The office staff here is wonderful. They have always been helpful and accommodating to me in every possible way. On the very FEW times I have gone to them with a concern, it was addressed swiftly, courteously, and effectively. The guys who do the maintenance, Joe and Reggie, are awesome! Any repairs they make are done professionally. They fix things right, the first time, every time. This year during the snows, I once saw Reggie out at 11:30 PM, shoveling and throwing down salt, to keep the side walks open and safe for the residents. This is an example of the outstanding, top-notch service that residents here enjoy. I am not easy to please, but I am thoroughly pleased at the Met. Yes, you may pay a bit more money to live here, but it is WELL worth it!!!
