Live literally anywhere else
Do yourself a favor and don't live here.
You'll save yourself a lot of grief if you live literally anywhere else. At first you'll think all the amenities and whatnot are more than enough to make you want to sign a lease, but The Luxx has absolutely terrible service. I'll try to list every reason why, but I'm not sure I'm able to recall every one.
- They'll enter your unit without notice. We've lived here for three weeks, and they've already done this three or four times.
- Poorly built. The first week we were here, an entire building had a piping problem that resulted in having to bring the residents out of the building because it was flooding. Also furniture isn't good quality; my roomate sat in the kitchen chair only to have the seat fall off and bring them to the floor.
- If they promise you some sort of gift card or money for moving in, don't expect it any time soon. We signed to get one in March for spring break and they said they would get it to us when we moved in. Three weeks in now and they still promise they're getting them to us.
- If you need to put in a work order for your unit, they won't get to it quickly. Our AC froze and we were in the heat for 4 or 5 days.
Seriously, I regret signing this lease. Live at any other place around UTSA and save yourself some money and grief.
