This place was worth the money but I can hear my neighbors talking through the walls. I live on the second story and I am so thankful because even the floors is incredibly thin. The only good part was how nice the maintenance man was. The management is poor and they just set your rent money down on a desk when you pay it. It's like a child runs this place. They did "renovations" but not nearly enough.

The new renovations were done poorly, and many of the new fixtures, while they 'Look' great, seem lower in quality than the previous ones. Stains and issues with the carpeting caused by the workmen don't seem to be of any concern to the management; and the same is said about the wood stain splatters on the walls in the bathrooms, and kitchens, that many of the residents have voiced concerns about.

Being under new management, it would be nice if the new management company would leave the old 'Gables' website functioning (Really functioning- online service requests, information availability, etc.) Until the new landmark website is up and running. I can understand there will be some lag time getting things ramped up for the new management company but any organization with as many properties, and as much experience managing apartments as these people really should have a better idea on how to ensure availability of typical resident communication lines.
