THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST APARTMENT I HAVE EVER RENTED. Check the A/C and ALL appliances. Turn on the shower(s) and sinks to make sure they work (even if they look new). If there is anything wrong get a maintenance request in writing before you sign anything! Additionally, expect to have roaches even if you set traps, don't leave food out and keep a clean house. It clearly can't be avoided
