The apartments are nothing like the model. It is a decent place to live, but too expensive for what it is. If you are avid about not smoking, having any medical conditions associated or aggravated by smoking, have children, and not want to die because of constant exposure to second hand smoke DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! They will lie to you and tell you that you don't smell smoke from other apartments but its a lie to get you in. I am an AVID non smoker and do not want my health risked because of another persons smoking. I will admit that the maintainance man did what he could to help as far as my heating and air system not pulling smoke from the other apartments but that was just what he was able to do at the time. Since that time I have noticed strong smoking smells while lying in bed upstairs and while watching tv downstairs in the living room. The smell comes suddenly so I know exactly when my neighbor is smoking. I'm pretty sure it's coming through the wall outlets. The apartment manager could care less about the issue because he IS a smoker. I desperately want out of my lease!!!! I can NOT wait to leave. There are also other problems in the village that they won't tell you about such as the water bug infestation and flooding of units during heavy rains. I have not had flooding but have had delayed maintainance due to it.
