Beautiful Setback Hideaway!!

We've lived here for 4 months and only have glowing reviews. I looked at a lot of apartments around Greenville, but this was feels more like a retreat, set off the main road, up against the mountains. It's beautiful, peaceful and the staff is awesome. The 2 maintenance guys are stellar and are super prompt in filling requests. The front desk is very friendly and has remained helpful over our few months here. We've met some wonderful residents and haven't had issues with anyone. We have kids and a dog, and have felt very welcomed by everyone. We love this place.

Great Apartment- Can't believe these reviews

I recently moved out of the Enclave (moved states) but am in shock by the reviews, this is a GREAT apartment. The best in Greenville in this price range. NEVER had a problem. they're brand new and very nice! Only problem we had was with parking, didn't love the washing machine but was fine. 100% recommend.

AWFUL AND NOT HELPFUL

AWFUL AND NOT HELPFUL describes this office staff to a tee. Maybe I would add condescending and lazy as well.

My family has lived here for a year now and we consider ourselves very low maintenance people. We had two issues while living here and BOTH were handled with a lack of respect and lack of care by all three women in the office.

The two on site maintenance men and the pool are the two bright spots in an otherwise dreadful year.

Parking is NOT easy, there is simply not enough.

BUGS are everywhere and you have to pull teeth and nails to get anyone to come spray. And when you call back because it didn't work, expect to be treated like a complete idiot.

Landscaping is only taken care of around the clubhouse to give a "luxury" feel for newcomers and photographs. Building lawns are left dirty and dry and lacking.

Great place to live!

We lived at Enclave for a year, with two dogs and were very happy with our apartment and all the amenities. The workout facility was great, as was the walking path by the small pond on property. Very pet friendly place! We never had a problem with office staff or maintenance. The only downfall while living there was parking, they were in the middle of building an additional parking lot for the overflow of cars. The move-out process was uncommonly easy and stress-free, maintenance checked us out and we received our deposit back accordingly. We actually miss living at Enclave!

Spare yourself.

I'm simply writing this review to spare anyone else of having to go through similar experiences....

Business office, and the staff.... Completely unreliable. We were over promised many extra amenities, that were never offered, and got a tough luck their amenities when asking about them. The only thing the staff is worried about is their paychecks each week. calling with issues within your apartment or concerns they feel are not their problem. Best of luck with them, they seen ever so nice at first, until you get settled in. As for putting in work orders, I can certainly say their on site maintenance men are a blessing and certainly the best.

Lets began with selecting our apartment, second story (living in apartments, you know its better being above someone than below) good view, by the business office. Unfortunately you are not provided with any parking spaces,  and if you look at the layout you will notice the left side, both building share parking, which makes for a huge mess. Times we have had to park in future resident parking, more times than I could possibly imagine, at times even park on the Right side of the business office (almost as far as a football field away) that makes for being soaked on rainy days, hard to carry several bags, I'm sure you get the image. As for living in a gated community, I would say partially gated. Gates are down on a regular basis, or the box to get in is broken.

I have been a residence for over a year, since the complex first opened to the public. I was aware there would be more building, as they were finishing phase two of construction, little did I know construction would continue for almost another year (building was said to be done in May). As I stated before, I was aware of the construction, just not the length of construction. Being woken up to hammers banging at 8am each morning isn't a pleasant feeling, I couldn't imagine working a shift I would need to sleep in times of construction. As well as construction workers leaving all of their material out for days (up to 9 days at a time some days) in the walk ways (when you are to have no belongings in the walk way). I couldn't imagine having to walk my dog, or have small children with all the nails that were everywhere, when addressed to the business office, they notified me they would tell the construction, problems were never fixed, I cleaned up the mess myself.

Lets talk about quality, and why construction continued. The price of these "luxury" apartments, and the quality you receive makes you feel robbed. I have viewed, and lived in many apartments, paying half the price, and getting much better quality. When I say poor quality, I mean cheapest make of all materials in the apartment. Several things in our apartment have broken, there is too many of these problems to address. Don't be fooled by the "luxury" look. All that is ";luxury" is the look, and location.

NO privacy, I imagined this being my home for a few years. Unfortunately this has been a nightmare. You can hear every single thing, I say that in every bit of seriousness..... people charging up the stairs, doors slamming (which on several occasions have rattled things on your walls) people talking outside the apartments, dogs barking at all hours of the day, your neighbors TV. You hear everything your neighbor does, they might as well share the same apartment as you. Our neighbor complains constantly, and I wish as much as her there was something we could do about it. The apartment has even conducted sound tests, and concluded you could hear everything, bringing it to the neighbors attention, who doesn't care. This makes it much more miserable, because our neighbor doesn't care, when we are louder than her expectations she bangs on our ceiling repeatedly (we've simply walked through the kitchen and she bangs) yells at us from her balcony, and has even knocked on our door to threaten us with calling the cops.

These problems have been address to the staff, who has no intent of doing anything about these problems. All they offered to do was give us 30 days to move out (like we were being kicked out) at their notice. Breaking your lease could cost you literally thousands of dollars, is was a considered option.

I certainly hope this helps.
I agree with alot of what you are saying. I have been here about a year and while I do like living here, it is a very noisy complex from other apartments I have lived at before. People have no common sense and do charge up the stairs and slam doors constantly.....I think it is just a matter of people have no respect for others. I have children in my building who ride scooters on the wooden walkways all day/night, slam doors, run up and down the stairs constantly, yelling, etc. I thought the pool hours were 10-10 but people are in the pool at about 830-9 in the am and up to midnight and I've seen 1-2 am. This really isn't a place if you want to relax. Its mostly for 20-30 year olds with young children. I have to pay extra for a pool view, which I don't understand because I have to listen to screaming kids in the pool constantly or people partying past midnight.......They do start the work here around 8 am , landscaping, mowing, loud blowers.......It would be hard to live here if you had to sleep in the day say for a second or third shift job. The office staff is friendly and there are two maintainence men who are very friendly and helpful here. This is a nice place to live, it is just a little costly and again, it is more for 20-30 year olds with young children.....not a place to get some peace and quiet. I am undecided how long I will stay here . Again, I do like living here, I just think people have no respect for others and it probably will be this way anywhere.......
