Harris Mill Lofts

Harris Mill Lofts is the newest offering in the Brady Sullivan portfolio of mill communities. Built in 1850, the mill was the second of two textile mills developed by Elisha Harris, a former governor of Rhode Island, land he purchased in the 1820s along the North Branch of the Pawtuxet River in Coventry. The Mill manufactured plain and twilled cotton cloth. It later produced book cloth for Interlaken Mills, Inc., one of the nation's largest suppliers of the cloth used by the publishing industry. The mill remained in operation until it was closed by Interlaken Mills, Inc. in 1953.Harris Mill has been reborn into unique, luxury apartments featuring exposed brick and beams, original reclaimed wood flooring, soaring ceilings, bright oversized windows, granite kitchen counters and stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryers, as well as central heating and air conditioning. Select apartments have been appointed with gas fireplaces for the ultimate experience in chic, loft-style living. We also offer an on-site fitness center & indoor basketball court. Enjoy the community game room, watch the latest flick in our state-of-the-art movie theater, curl up with a good book in the reading room or jump on the internet with the Wi-Fi hotspot. Harris Mill Lofts is just a short bike ride to the Greenway Bike Path. Our fully- equipped community room is a great place to entertain your friends. Don't forget, your four legged friends are welcome too!
