Best place I have ever lived
I have lived in many places, Downtown Houston TX, Downtown Fort Worth Texas, Yongsan District Yongsan-gu Seoul Korea where I lived on a hill and I could see N Seoul Tower, and places that were wonderful like on Eagle Mountain Lake near Fort Worth Texas former military and now an IT consultant and photographer I have lived in many other places.
My travels have taken me many places and I never felt like any place was home. The Encore on seventh is home to me and when my sister and her family visited they absolutely loved the place first time ever.
The appliances all seem new, the common areas smell is wonderful and if there are any bad smells as happens to any apartment building they clean it up right away.
The maintenance is outstanding and the staff very attentive. Your Concierge Ed is very knowledgeable in Pittsburgh and always ready for a chat. Sort of like coming home and talking to your favorite uncle, you tend to miss talking to Ed, and coming home.
You never hear your neighbors and if you do occasionally, you think it is odd. The city noises do not bother this lite sleeper.
There is a clubroom and outside area to sit on the second floor, where one can just go chill and a coffee machine too just in case you wish to drink coffee.
You are across the Allegheny River from PNC Park where the Pirates play .05 Miles and Heinz Field where the Steelers play one Mile . Museums, theaters, bars and restaurants are just a walk away less than .05 miles.
By the way Pittsburgh is a beautiful city with many different types of architecture and is something of a wonder for any type of photographer and the Encore on 7th is the middle of the cultural district so in the middle of everything. You can get to North Hills and South Hills and everything else because you are close to freeways.
The Encore of 7th is where you want to live if you are spontaneous and love to travel or just want to stay home and enjoy your home.

I lived in a similar building in Chicago for six years. The service, security, cleanliness, and level of attention and detail, especially from Ed, the Encore doorman, isn't even in the same ballpark. I'd choose the Encore any day.
The property is an excellent place to live.
The professional management team runs the property like a 5 star diamond building.

Great place to live. Love downtown Pittsburgh.
People do ask all the time. I tell them that the building is great. The location is very convenient to all things Pittsburgh. The only downsize is the substantial noise. The building was not built well with respect to outside noise. The insulation is terrible as a whole. If you don't mind high electric bills, it's a great place to live.
