I lived here for a little over 4 years and am leaving due to cost. Your rent goes up at least 15$/ year and it seems as though nothing is done about it. The elevators break down on a regular basis and you are stuck walking up several flights of stairs up to 10 or 11 as it is a 11 floor apartment complex 12 if you include the pool. The pool is also never open on the hours you want to go the lifeguards are never there and I once sat there for an hour waiting and no one came. You have 3 washers and 3 dryers for 24 apartments per floor ans it is 1.50 per was ans 1.50 per dry. The staff are nice to you when you first move in but then when they want to do something and it is inconvient for you they do it anyway. Their lease is horrible the terms in it are just wrong. Filing for bankruptcy or even thinking about it? Don't move here the lease says you have 7 days to move out after you file. Oh and they can show your apartment even if stuff is still in there and you are not moved out. Do not live here as a warning although the residents are wonderful the building is horrible for the price you pay. Move somewhere cheaper in monroeville.
