We moved here in July of 2014 to be closer to my daughter's school and my work. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed. My mother lived here a few years ago, before they did the renovations and when the place had no owner or management and they pretty much were condemned. I figured I'd check out the renovations and see what the new owners had done to the place, since these were the only "somewhat decent" apartments in Bethany. The renovations are great, new carpet, new tile in the bathrooms, etc. BUT the office staff is RUDE and act like they have no idea what is going on. They are not accommodating and when you come to them with a problem they look at you like you are stupid and give you some smart answer like "well, ok? I haven't been here all day." We have been having plumbing problems since the first month we moved in. The kitchen sink backed up and overflowed while we were gone one afternoon and we came home to a flooded apartment. It took forever for the maintenance man to get here, since we called him at 4pm and he showed up at 10:30pm, saying he had gone to the wrong apartment, but never thought to CALL us. A month later, we are now we are having sewage backup in our shower and bathtubs, and you can only shower for 5 minutes before ending up in a foot of water. I have heard the plumbing here is shot, and they need to get out here and fix it. They snake the drains and tell you to "run hot water down the drains every once in a while". Their quick fix isn't fixing anything and I'm beyond frustrated. Unfortunately, this is one of those situations where I will have to deal with the rude staff and poor plumbing and service, because we need to be near my daughter's school, but I just wanted to warn anyone else who is thinking of renting here. This is what you're getting yourself into.
