I was very excited when I saw these new apartments being built, in fact I was one of the first 10 people to rent. However, because of the construction I could not actually see the apartment only the floor plan, which met my needs. I planned for my move which was to be at the first of September, due to rains it was pushed back to the first of October. Then the day before the movers were to come and pack up my old apartment, I received a call that the building did not pass inspection!!! I will say this for the management team there at the time, they worked with me to get my household materials in, but I could not stay...luckily my family was not to far away and I went home. Finally, I got to move in October 7th, I would like to say I was impressed with me new place as I decorated, but...it is easy to tell how cheaply built the apartments are...case in point, I had hung towels on the towel rack walked out of the bathroom, the next thing I hear is a loud bang...the rack fell off the wall. Most of the problems are in the bathroom, bath tub stall is cracked, faucet comes away from the bath tub, paint is on light fixtures, plus there are areas were it is not painted.
The worse thing that happened was May 30th when the apartment came under the management of Century...as I reviewed apartments their name came up many times with negative feedback so I stayed clear of those apartments. These "people" were very rude and unprofessional. If I see anyone of them they do not speak...I don't even know their names because they do take the time to find out who the residents are. Hopefully, things will get better, however, I am starting to look for a new place.
