Overcharged and under-impressed. Initially, I figured this place was safe and convenient, a little overpriced, but safe and convenient- it is, but it comes at a cost. 1- You will hear everything and everyone around you. Luckily, I am on the third floor, but I have heard every moment of some unknown neighbor's battle against allergies. 2- My lights flicker for no reason at all. ALL OF THE TIME. 3- Cracks in the doors let cold air in in the winter, and out in the summer, jacking up your electric bill. 4- Don't expect anything to be fixed on time. The treadmill in the gym (if you can call it that) was broken for at least 2 months. 5- If you work regular hours, plan on getting all of your packages on the weekend. The office is only open 9-6 during the week. So, beat the ungodly traffic on 55 home if you want to receive anything the day it arrives. But more importantly, the staff is awful. It's like they don't want to be bothered by residents. They will stop at nothing to charge you whatever they can. Thy are deceitful too. I went in to sign my release form 60 days in advance and was unsure on the official date I would be out. I had every intention of leaving by the 1st of the month to avoid any extra charges, but was prompted to leave myself some extra time just in case- with no warning this could not be undone. Now I've found out that I will be charged for 4 days of the next month, regardless of when I move out. In retrospect this, was my fault for not reading the fine print, but as someone who works in the customer service industry, I am appalled that no one could even apologize for the inconvenience this is causing me. All for an extra $75 dollars in their pocket? I am sure they'll try to charge me for some fictitious stain or scratch as well- especially since there is no "formal existing inspection". I'll be scrubbing away until the 4th, to make sure they don't get any more unnecessary money from me.
