Neglected and empty for years, this community landmark has been dramatically turned around in a contemporary and sustainably designed rehabilitation project. The four-story Aeolian has been vacant since 1991; however, an $8 million makeover has transformed it and recaptured how it stood in 1924, dedicating it to the seniors and elderly of Mississippi. The Aeolian once again stands as a contributing structure to the Uptown Historic District of Vicksburg.
