The positives (reasonable rent rate, quality responsive manager and office staff, prompt replying maintenance staff and reasonable security presence) do not, in my view, offset the one big negative. Unless you are the type of person who can sleep through any noise, you will find it difficult to consistently get a decent night's sleep in Woodgate Apartments. Despite the security presence too many of the complex's tenants seem to have the view that being in an apartment community means noise and disturbance levels you have to put up with are ANY noise and disturbances and that working late hours or other circumstances mean acceptable noise and disturbance levels are different for those tenants with these working late exceptions. It also seems that warnings stemming from complaints either to security or management have to pile up before some final action is taken. As the construction of these apartments is on par with others in the medium rent price range, a tenant does have to expect certain noise bleed through from other apartments. But when fans, a white noise machine and earphones still can't effectively muffle the nightly noise levels and a tenant feels all too often like they are living in a constantly unloading warehouse or home makeover project, reasonable nights of consistent sleep is not something that can be listed as an asset with Woodgate Apartments and those who want to be able to get a good night's sleep consistently should look elsewhere for a place to rent.
