I have lived at Stone Mill for over six years. At first I loved it. I was so happy to be home in Louisville. The rent was great and a good value. I now pay over $200 more than I did when I first moved in. I have stayed here so long because the maintenance men were so good. However, now they charge for everything. Something had to be repaired in my apartment and they charged me $30.00. Every year the rent goes up. If you have to move for whatever reason you have to give 60 days notice or guess what, they charge you. I can't get out of my lease. Moral to this posting is renter beware...The rent starts out great but goes up and up and up. I don't think there is a cap on rent. I can not wait to move, eight months and two weeks, but who is counting. There is a lot of flooding of apartments and the train is horrible. If I was the manager of this property I would be contacting somebody to make this community a no blow zone. The air conditioning is so loud I can not hear my TV over the fan and when the train blows, well I put my TV on pause and wait for it all to be over. Renter beware....
