Awesome place!

The staff is available 7 days a week and are quick to respond to any issues. I have had no issues with noise and the place is beautiful. They have free food pretty much weekly and resident events to help you get to know people. Renewed after the first few months since I loved the place and the people.

All that glitters isn't gold

The biggest problem with this place is that it is definitely too far from everything: school, supermarkets, downtown. The company does not prorate rent so you end up paying a full month's rent for two weeks in August. The place looks nice, but it is cheaply put together. It is extremely cold in the winter despite the heat being on high due to poor insulation. This also means you can hear noise through the walls. Finally, the roommate matching system is no good. They are only concerned about filling up rooms and don't care how they match people. It's in their contract that the management is not responsible if matched roommates have issues.

Nice place, but be ready for added heating costs

The staff is nice, the apartment itself it fairly nice as well. Just a couple of issues you need to know going in. They say they cover heating and electricity, they don't. They technically only cover up to $25 per person living in the apartment. Normally would not be a problem, but the apartments are insulated horribly. The average bill I get for heating is about $20-$28/month in the winter months. I live in a three bedroom so the total bill is usually around $150 for a three bedroom unit. This isn't just me, it's with a lot of people living here. God forbid they put you in a 3-4 bedroom and they don't find you additional roommates because they you are still on the hook for heating a 3-4 bedroom place with only a $25 allowance. I would like to reiterate that this is a nice place to live in terms of the furniture, the staff and in a lot of other ways. Just keep in the added costs in mind because it was annoying to me to have to essentially add $25/month more to my rent for something they neglected to talk about when they say everything is included.
