Wills Park!!! Quiet, woodsy, granite, great mgmt!

Quiet, upscale apartment complex. Smells like fresh pine and fresh air. Feels like you live in the forest of you can get an apartment facing the trees! I've also felt very safe for my children to walk to bus stop every morning. Of course I also had a terrace level apartment in the 3000 building on the corner near the street. So I was close to the front of the complex and the location of my apartment allowed me to watch them as they walked and then stood at the stop from any of the windows facing the stop... Dining, kitchen, or the 2 other bedrooms. If you can get an apartment like 3001 you will get an amazing deal due to it being terrace level BUT doesn't feel at all like terrace because it sits on top of a hill and faces a great downhill view!! Like having a house because you can walk directly out to the actual land leve and sit and enjoy and of course the view is great because you are up on a hill. No traffic sounds either. Complex is not overcrowded so there is plenty of parking and not too many people at the pool or making too much noise in common areas in general. Management were also extremely responsive to any needs or worries I had, especially Michele!
Oh and this complex is only a very short walk to WILLS PARK! Amazing Park! It is worth trying to live near that park somehow matter what you choose apt or house and there are no other good apts that I know of near that park ;)
I lived at the lex for 1 year and what you see on the outside, and the so called new up grades are not so bad when you see them but like they say, it's what's  in the inside that counts and these  apartments  have water issues inside the walls . When it comes through and you call maintanene they paint over it and say it's fixed!
We found a broken pipe inside our AC unit filled with mold and mud, the bathroom wall had wet black spots ! They told me it was dirt! My neighbor had water stains on her wall. They painted over it. Since I been gone I feel so much better. If you live at the lex open your AC panel yourself  and make sure it is clean. If you are having a lot of upper respiratory  problems  it is possible your inside walls are wet. Make sure they give you a work order before entering your apartment or leave one for you if you are not home. I say this because anything having to do with water leaks in the walls causes mold. Mold is everywhere but when it's inside the wall it could be toxic and they know this so they  have been known to not write work orders !
