My husband and I moved here in 2013. It is not the same complex since the new management took over last year. They are making changes and upgrades and I think they are trying to compete with higher end complexes and unfortunately failing at the expense of the tenants. Just look at their website and see all the avaiable apartments. I counted 43 the other day. That is not a good sign.

Since taking over they have increased rent, charge for pest control, and now there is a fee to pay rent online. They also changed water companies and now my bill is $20 higher than it use to be. My bill is over $60 /month for water for a 1 bedroom apartment. That is rediculous!!!!

Maintenance is unreliable and at this point we will only call if it is an emergency as we do not trust them in our apartment when we are not home. We had a leaky roof and all they did was paint over the water stains on our ceiling. Lawn care is awful. The grass and weeds are always higher than my dog.

The only positive is the location. It is nice being close to the interstate and Benderson Park. And with all the empty apartments, our building has been nice and quiet. But when weighing all the positives and negatives, my husband and I have easily decided to leave at the end of our lease. Just as all our neighbors have done.
