Horrible management
The property is nice and safe, but hard to find parking after 6pm. Also, with the new management the rent increased significantly, and the apartments don't have upgraded anything unless you pay a lot more. Parking was the only real annoyance I ever had, UNTIL they switched management in January. The new management staff was horrible, completely non-responsive if you have any concerns. They took over the property 3 months before I moved out and caused so many billing issues for me. On my final statement they tried to charge me for bills I had already paid- $90 worth! And it took over a month for them to correct it while being EXTREMELY rude to me. Also, I had two water valves break in those 3 months and maintenance did not correct the issue timely because they didn't have any water valve parts. The old management always had really great community events and the new staff didn't have a single event or newsletter in that 3 months.
Not Worth It
Be careful when considering this apartment complex. The grounds are poorly maintained, maintenance requests take far too long to be completed, and it is definitely not worth the value.
While you will see a gym and other amenities, what they may forget to tell you is that you actually have to pay a fee to use the gym, and it's non-refundable. You also get charged for every little thing, and there is even a service charge on top of the charges you pay for the actual service.
Parking here is a nightmare. There are not enough spaces throughout most of the complex. Only one small section has added spaces, but that is way in the back.
You also pay more for things that anyone would expect to be included in their apartments, such as new carpeting or flooring, or light fixtures that are not from the 70's or 80's. When all is said and done, you pay a lot more than you are told you can expect to pay. Often times you will be paying more than others for things like an optional garage. As much as $50 or more for the same garage others are paying less for.
This apartment complex was just bought out by a different company, and they have actually decreased the services and activities previously provided.
I would definitely NOT recommend this as a place to live if you want to be happy.
