No, I would not recommend this complex to anyone! 
Aimco management is the worse company I have ever dealt with:
1. Service requests are ignored and when they do take care of them, they are barely done.
- My unit flooded while I was out of town (kitchen sink flooded due to old piping. It ruined my rug and several pieces of furniture. NO ONE answered the emergency number and had sleep with the disgusting smell and water all over my place.
2. The laundry room is dirty! Several dryers barely work, they are dirty and it's extrememly expensive ($1.25 for washers and $1.00 for dryers - which sometimes it takes to full cycles to dry)
3. Parking is completely inconvinient, most places around are at least $180 (thank goodness my company parks downtown and I'm able to park there)
4. Noise - Granted you're living downtown but it's beyond ridiculous: sirens, pipes rattling, drunk people EVERYDAY yelling
5. Lobby - It always smells like the cleaning crew is covering up bodily functions, disguisting! 
6. Rent - Super expensive and now you have fees for paying online
