The place is shiney on the outside but not well run or maintained

I love living here so so much!

Too expensive, lacking security, poor management, too many people that are non residents using the facilities, pathetic management

It seems as though things are always getting fixed or always in need of fixing. I know there are a lot of things that can break at an apartment this large but it never feels like everything is working at once. If the hot tub is broken, the pool is finally warm. If the pool is warm, the hot tub is freezing. If all of the treadmills work, the cable machine is broken. Just a few examples.

Too expensive

I unfortunately do not feel as safe compare to my first few months here. Evening security staff is always changing and I’m they are always on their phone. They don’t even look up or make eye contact - how can I feel safe? The garage gate seems to be out of order more often, and the concierge staff are not as personable compare to Clayton. My overall experience rating is definitely lower compared to my first year.

The community spirit here is the best I've experienced in three luxury apartment buildings.

No parking, LOUD neighbors/pool area late at night/smoking tolerated, hall way smells, building monthly dues to high

Safety. LMC profit over providing basics like QUALITY security detail, just a handful of reliable guest parking spaces, or filling the empty business space below our building to increase foot traffic. Hell, even putting a McDonald’s down in the empty shop space would have been better than 2 years of paying taxes on it. You really think Gap is about to buy shop space in blown out Downtown Oakland? LMC suits need to quit dreaming and help solve this neighborhood’s problems with the tools at their fingertips. LMC should stay profitable but just not be so greedy.

The noise and violence outside during the weekends, and the crazy high expense for parking, would give me pause.

The pool heater being broken. Hot tub dirty. Took forever to fix machine in gym. The 34th floor lounge is always locked. It’s the amenity we can look at but never use freely

For the location I would recommend, but I would also probably not recommend it for that reason too. It's steps away from. Bart, but the nightlife her can be a bit much.

I think the rental market has softened with the COVID closures, and access to amenities in the building has been either highly restricted or not available. Given the current situation, I think that the price is not reflective of the experience. However, I do think my feeling would be different if the amenities were available. The staff has been friendly and helpful and I have no complaints about their service level and follow through. Timing has made this a mixed bag.

I love living in this community and want others to love it too.
