The community was in a very nice, cozy area located in the uptown area near a few attractions. There were tons of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and churches surrounding the apartment. The leasing staff was very friendly and the residents seemed to really enjoy living there. This seemed like a nice place to live.

To get a better 'grade' on this, you will first have to keep the complex clean!

The office staff is outstanding , very friendly and easy to talk to. They always try to help any way they can.

It's quiet (except for Winstons, which is to be expected), the interiors are nice and my neighbors are nice. Good access to the Katy Trail and for walking doors.

The paint colors were very dark. The apartment seemed very nice to me, but the main selling point to me was the neighborhood/location.

I've been living at the Marquis at Cedar Springs for almost a year now, and am definitely planning to renew my lease. Mandy and Lisa in the office are awesome, super helpful, and almost always available. When I was moving in, Lisa mentioned "you'll definitely get to know us living here" to which I thought "ya, ok... sure." But sure enough, every time I walk by they know me by name, I find myself stopping frequently just to catch up, and it's evident they know all of the residents pretty well. The same is said of the maintenance crew, I've only ever had them once #simply because I couldn't figure out how to open the fireplace when I first moved in# and they've recognized me ever since. The apartment is great, neighbors are all kind, and noise has been very minimal, even living near the freight elevator. The pool, gym, available conference center, etc, are all great, and I can't imagine being able to find as large of a floor plan with comparable amenities at this price anywhere else in the area. Really my only complaints are the elevator is pretty slow, it can be hot during summer being on the top floor, or in un-air-conditioned common areas #hallways, elevator, etc#, and the parking garage is kinda tight #but really, that's any parking garage in Dallas#. I've definitely felt safe, love the area, and overall, great value, plus, the office staff is awesome. I'll bet they could even guess who's writing this... Only apartment I've ever lived in where the staff puts that much effort forth to get the know the residents.

The leasing professional was amazing. She had awesome people skills and gave one of the best tours I have been on.

Staff is split between two properties and not always available and inconvenient office hours.

They are nice apartments but the cost is exceeding the reward as prices rise.

My visit at this property was an enjoyable learning experience. The leasing professional was warm and professional, and demonstrated a sincere interest in engaging me in the experience of understanding and appreciating the luxury, features, amenities, and services that their residents enjoy. She demonstrated the properties and apartments with integrity and assertion. The community was in immaculate condition and appeared to be very well maintained.

Overall the apartment complex is way overpriced for the interior and exterior amenities. Management says that they will handle issues but they never do. The bad severely outweighs the good at this community.

The manager is unresponsive. They failed to disclose the noise from the gym. They won't take action to address it. They push it off to a security guard who doesn't respond. This has been the most miserable living situation of my life, and I sincerely mean that. I don't say it to be melodramtic.
