The leasing agent was extremely helpful and if I were looking for a new home, I would have definitely leased that day based on what I saw and her presentation.

Only downside is club across the street on the weekends if your are on that side of the building. Some residents or visitors are messy and occasionaly leave trash around the complex but overall good place to live.

I like the location, apartment and amenities, etc. I think it is a perfect price to live in uptown around many restaurants and shops. I think it is in need of a kitchen update, however.

I hate to hear that your experience has fallen short of your expectations. I would love to touch on some key items you have mentioned. I completely understand the frustration with the gates being open. The gates are now in working order. Unfortunately, we had to wait on a part that was ordered. I personally walked the community and noticed some items that need immediate attention. The community appearance is my highest priority and my team and myself will be walking weekly to ensure cleanliness. We have added an extra trash pick up day during the week. Hopefully that will eliminate the overflow in the trash room.

I am happy to hear that you are pleased with our maintenance team and that your service requests are done in a timely manner.

I like living here, I feel safe and like the location. However, the gym and pool are not that great, and the kitchen appliances are terrible and old.

This place cracks me up!!

I'm dating someone who lives here. You can hear every thing in all the units around you. When they flush, answer their phone or make happy in the
bedroom. Feet clomping constantly. And the building is always shaking. And what's up with the deep resesed hole over the fire place? I try to find the good but this is a cheep building. If you want privacy or peace and quiet, it's not here.

As far as the recessed box above the fire place, most of our residents like this feature because it allows you to mount a flat screen TV and place your cable box, DVD player or even a gaming device above your TV without having exposed cable wires hung on the outside wall. Our maintenance team will gladly help you install the TV mount if you and the resident would like to have this done.

I think this would be a nice place to move in to. The property is nice and the apartments are slightly outdated for the area but the price range is still below most the updated properties.

I would definitely recommend Marquis for anyone in Dallas. We love the convenience, covered parking, Apt. size and rent. And the staff is always wonderful and helpful with anything we need.
