The apartment seemed to need some updating, especially the bathroom. Overall, my visit to the community was positive.

I work a few blocks away and recommend the complex all the time. A person I work with lives in another complex a few blocks away and is always complaining about her apt- rent is high, zero service, staff doesn't care. I enjoy bragging about living here and the staff.

I chose this apartment complex when relocating back to NC from NY. I had narrowed the selection down to several complexes in the area, but this one met my needs. On top of that, the people in the office were incredible. Since I was moving from NY, I wasn't able to see the apartment before committing, so they answered every last detailed question I had. They even went so far as offering to go into the exact apartment that was available to take specific pictures for me. Since moving in, I've been extremely happy with the apartment, the complex and the people. I'd recommend them to anybody.

My 2BR-2BA with attached garage is great. I'm especially pleased with the storage off the deck and the very roomy garage! I have plenty of room for 4 shelving units, my car, and motorcycle. And, still have plenty of room to get into/out of car and walk around it.

I have lived in be raleigh/cary area around 5 years now and this is one of my favorite places I've lived so far. The apartments have a nice and open layout. The look of the apartment is really nice. Also the decks are huge, almost large enough to play soccer out there! (Okay so that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but they still are quite large). I live on a third floor unit near the edge of the complex and love the quietness of my place. I haven't yet lived here in the summer but I can't wait to sit beside the large pool either. So far I haven't seen any bugs or creepy crawlers, and I live by the woods. The area is also very safe and as a young woman living on my own, I have never felt uncomfortable here. Parking is pretty good as well. The staff is friendly and always helpful, and my service requests have always been completed in a timely manner. The only negative I could say is that pricing is a bit steep, but it is still at a better rate than those apartments that compare in quality in the area! I would certainly recommend living here!

The location is great. Walk to restaurants, Bond Park, groceries, etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff is fast and competent. Apt's are clean and comfortable and the garage is a big plus. Nice pool area to relax and cook out. Dog friendly and nice neighbors.

I probably wouldn't want friends / family living in the same immediate property just on personal preference. I would recommend them to any Marquis at _____ property however, based on my experience at Preston...and if they were interested in coming here, I would certainly endorse the decision with the disclaimer of "Dont bother me every day!" :)

I have recommended it to friends. It's a great place to live. I don't know if I'll continue to recommend it because it isn't "as good of a deal" as it was when I first moved in.

The staff is great ,it's a great environment to live ,my neighbors are great people

I had a positive experience visiting and liked what I heard about the management company. I felt confident that we could be comfortable living there.

If my friends or family had the option between this complex and another that used more aggressive pest control or a complex that had less pest issues, I would tell them to go with the other complex. I know it's "been a bad season" for cockroaches, but based on my experience speaking with others who live in the area (both homeowners and renters) there are ways that they could have been controlled that the management chooses not to use--which makes me a very frustrated, and upset tenant.

If there were no pest issues, I would highly recommend this complex, but the bug issues is a real sticking point for me. They are unsanitary, disgusting, scary and embarrassing.

The reason I would recommend is that it is a pleasant living environment that fosters community for those who seek that dimension while also offering privacy.

I tell everyone that asks me about living here-you couldn't ask for a better complex. Super service and great office staff.

I would recommend the community because of the location and also the staff/management. Service requests are taken care of immediately, they are always pleasant to deal with an very professional. I have never had a staff this attentive.

The service and quality of the apartments has always been good. The only sticky part for people I know would be price; many of my friends don't make enough to live here. If someone can afford it, this is a good place to live.
