I like the quietness, friendly neighbors, and awesome staff

The location, the people, it is clean and awesome.

My husband and I have been living here for a few months and have had no major issues. Maintenance has always come the day after a maintenance request has been submitted. Everything in our apartment is exactly what we thought it would be. We can hear the beagle that shares a back wall with us, but we can't hear the people in that unit. We do hear our upstairs neighbor but only when he is walking in certain parts of his unit and it is not like it sounds like a herd of elephants lives above us. Our biggest complaint would be the layout of the parking lots. While there is ample parking, it feels like certain buildings have slightly less than others. We have never had to park very far away but occasionally we have to park near another building and not our own. Pet rent, deposit and policy is fare and one of the reasons we picked this apartment over others. The rec room is kept clean by both the tenants and the staff. So far this has been a good community to live in.

Good community environment. Well kept and quiet. Apartment layouts are functional but the fixtures are not as nice as they could be but my apartment has not been upgraded yet.

I have had a good overall experience living at Thornberry Woods, but there are a few factors that will lead me to leave when my lease is up if not improved upon soon. The first issue being that parking is a major issue near my building. Simply put, there are not enough parking spots for the number of people living in the specific buildings for that lot. I am the only person living in my one-bedroom apartment and have one vehicle. It has become very frustrating the number of nights a week that I have to go park at another building and walk back to my building it does not matter if I get back earlier or later as it is an issue at all times after 5 30pm. I think a contributing factor is that several units have multiple vehicles sitting in the parking lot. For example, I know for a fact that my neighbor has 3 vehicles and there are only 2 people living in the unit. This issue could be controlled by simply having assigned parking spots so that every unit is guaranteed at least one parking spot.

The second issue is that lighting needs to be added around the premises. I have noticed on the many nights that I have to go park at another building and walk back that it is very dark and very limited lighting around the building and sidewalks.

I have had limited experiences with the staff in the rental office and it has been hit or miss at what I get- some people have been very friendly and helpful while others need a huge improvement on their customer service skills. Other than that, my experience has been very positive at Thornberry Woods. The location is great for me being close to the highway and work and I feel I am getting a good quality home for the price.

I have been here for two years now and overall this is a great place to live. My neighbors are pleasant and respectful, it is very quiet, comfortable and I feel safe this is very important to me . The office staff here is absolutely phenomenal, they are helpful and address issues and concerns in a timely manner. With this said, I gave maintenance 4 stars because when I first moved in I asked that the peeling paint on my patio ceiling be taken care of, I was told by office staff that they address certain issues at certain times, well I’m wondering if it is after 3, 4, or 5 years because the peeling paint is still there. Since I am renewing my lease for the 3rd year maybe it will get taken care of soon. But again overall I love living here.

The grounds and apartment were well kept and pleasant. It seemed like a nice property and I would consider renting here based on the property.

The complex is very safe and in a convenient location it is close to many stores but is set back from the main street so it feels residential. The rent is pricy, but you're essentially getting what you're paying for. It has central air, which is a huge upgrade from other apartment buildings in the area, and it is pet friendly. My only downside was having an upstairs neighbor with heavy feet, but other than that, I never really heard any other neighbors. The management staff has been very nice and helpful with everything. I would definitely recommend living here.

Thornberry Woods is a great complex. The only issues are not unique to them - ie. slightly noisy neighbors and dog owners that don t always clean up after their pup. Apartment is well appointed with everything we need, maintenance is SO quick to reply to everything and I love that requests for maintenance and rent can all be done online, very convenient!

I enjoy living here but the neighbors above are very noisy. Sometimes it sounds like they may come through the ceiling. It happens at all hours.

I used to live at Highcrest Townhomes, which is right down the street, and Thornberry is 20x better. The cleanliness of the property, friendliness of the staff and neighbors, snow removal...everything is great. I would highly recommend everyone to live here!

I just wish the pool was slightly bigger :)

I would tell them that it is a nice place to live, the grounds are very clean, the facilities look well maintained, however you can hear the people that live above you, and depending on the time of day you will not be able to park directly in front of your apartment.

The office workers are respectful and helpful. Maintenance is timely and professional.
