I would not have leased. The presentation and the Leasing Professional's personality were a big turn-off.

If in the market for an apartment, I would consider The Dakota as a new home. I appears to have everything needed, conveniently located to interstates and main roads with local business, shopping, entertainment and beaches in close proximity.

The community as a whole was very appealing.

The Leasing Professional was personable and professional. The community was well maintained and impressive. This was a place to call home.

Driving in the community, was like driving in a small town. Everything was neat and orderly, very pleasant. The apartment I saw was appealing but a little too small. I did like the pool and the fitness room. It would be a nice place to live. My visit was enjoyable.

I am very happy with the way things are done and I haven't lived in an apartment on over 10 years.

Ignored maintenance requests, not having electricity for hours at a time happened several times due to poor construction , plumbing problems, paper thin walls, incompetent management. Also, lack of storage space and the units are way overpriced for such little square footage.

We enjoy living here It's a quiet, new and friendly community. Our apartment has all modern appliances. We have never seen any bugs in the year that we've lived here. The grounds are well kept and the pool and clubhouse are always clean. The community is up and coming.
Downtown Abbocoa has concerts and events regularly at their pavilion. We are also very close to Rodger Dean Stadium.
Maintenance is always available any time night or day and they respond to calls quickly no matter what the situation is.
I would recommend living here.

The leasing agent could have been more personable. She was pleasant but did not engage me in conversation to ask what my needs could be.

The Dakota is a nice apartment complex when considering the look. Maintenance is very nice. However, the pricing is much too high for what is offered. Some bedrooms are right where people walk to get to their apartments so theres no opening the window blinds. You can hear every conversation neighbors have on their balconies from inside your apartment. The cement outside my front door wasn't leveled properly causing a puddle of water to sit outside of my front door until the Florida heat dries it up. The gym is the size of a walk in closet and has zero free weights. Many apartment complexes in the area offer much more and have better pricing.
