This is a large property, very well maintained with some upgrades are in process.

Would Nots: I have always felt particularly safe here, even at night. However, I do wish the light fixtures were bigger and brighter so I feel just a tad bit safer when heading from my parking stall to my apartment. It can be hard to see sometimes especially since there's a lot of trees and corners that people can hide behind. I also wish there were cameras too to further the safety of the community. A couple other things are having to pay for utilities separately considering the rent being on the higher end for a single bedroom apartment. Just when compared to other apartment complexes that do charge less but still cover utilities. Another reason would just be insulation of the apartment, mainly when it hits summer time. AC could be on for a really long time but the temp barely goes down. And lastly the walls are a little thin, and the flooring has a little dip, at least in my apartment, but given how old the complex is, somewhat understandable. Other than that there's a bunch of pros. Would: I think the rent rate really shows more so in the service we get from maintenance, the office personnel and the environment/area of Fresno we're located in. As mentioned, I have always felt safe, that is my number one priority. I like the location of the apartment. It's in a neighborhood but the restaurants and shops are only 1 block away. The maintenance is always done quickly and the maintenance guys are always super nice and respectful. Laundry is in-unit which was one of the main things that grabbed my attention because I'm not the biggest fan of community laundry sites. The community amenities, though I don't use them, are always clean anytime I walk past them. Lawn is always cared for. And the current office personnel seem inviting and willingly to listen to anything that may be brought up. I would definitely recommend this apartment simply because the cons are, for the most part, things I can look past because the pros outweigh them.

Comfortable, centrally located

Driving into Lakeside Apartments I was well pleased. The grounds were decently groomed and clean. The apartment I saw was out of date. The Leasing Professional was pleasant but did not wow me with her presentation.

I felt excited at the hope to live in this quiet community. I would love to live there.

This was a large, well-kept community with beautiful grounds and fountains.

Beautiful place to live, Only problem would be the sudden change of not being able to have a BBQ pit in the patio due to the property insurance change.
