Apartment Review from a Current Renter

The fact that I could rent this apartment for short term is incredible. Thank you

Beautiful scenery, with door and window shut very little outside noise.

The office personnel are very nice and helpful. We purchased a unit in the Baker Building, sold our house and moved in here to get a feel for the area. We like the area and love the walking trails, etc. We decided on a one bedroom facing the road to save money, thinking we could handle it for a year. The move in date for our condo has kept moving out and we are still here. One of the problems is living in a one bedroom, one bath apartment for well over a year. The other is the noise of the train, the construction going on outside, the parking garage, and the smells from the restaurants when the windows/door is open.

For the price we pay I would have expected to not hear everything going on from my neighbors and above me. As well as I am on the 6th floor and my apartment shakes when people drop weights in the gym on the ground floor

Positives: Apartments are modern and well appointed. Great location and local amenities such as parks and restaurants. Negatives: Maintenance of common areas has slipped recently. No workout room or gym membership.

We love living here and feel our concerns will be dealt with in th near future.

I would be honest about what they could expect and let them make their own decision, but not go out of my way to encourage them to rent at Point Ruston.

The unsanitary conditions of the complex are beyond acceptable. Dog poop all over the apartment complex. It's a daily occurrence for dog urine and feces to be present in front of the elevator as well as in the lower garage. This became a problem during the CWS takeover.

Noisy, no hot water at peak times, office staff appears to keep to themselves and there is no parking for our visitors without paying crazy amounts of money. Does not "feel" like a community or "enhanced" which CWS promotes.

Due to amenities and walkability of the community are of great value. Residents are friendly.

Love there area and all the amenities. The staff have been friendly and very prompt with maintenance request.

In my opinion, the rent rates here are too high, as is my monthly water bill, considering I'm just one person. My favorite aspect of living here is being close to the water. But I'd just as soon recommend a friend or relative simply visit the area rather than move in here.

Managers have been very accommodating and helpful even though the automated rental payment system is not user-friendly for graying individuals.

I believe the things I need are simple. We live in a luxuaey community and I have yet to experience luxuary. Parking, the directory and the difficulties in communication make it a lack luster environment which is disappointing considering how beautiful the apartment truly is
