Overall good place to live

Fun, quite, comfortable, and affordable. I think the price of the gym should be one of the perks in living in this community since it is basically attached to living quarters. Desoto as a whole is growing and will be the 1 desired place to live in this area.

I love my quite, luxury apartment

This apartment is the value for my money compared to the surrounding apartments and rental properties.

Great community with a few drawbacks

Overall the community is nice. They have a nice pool and friendly people. But there are a few drawbacks that would prevent me from staying here or recommending it
1. Noise - the area is very noisy day and night which is especially difficult with a newborn. You can hear noise from both neighbors and the community center.
2. Lighting - I enjoy being able to sleep in darkness or pretty close to it. It is impossible to do that it apartments facing the community center without going through the trouble of installing blackout curtains. The lights from the center are pretty bright throughout the night.
3. Location of some things - having to walk as far as I do to take out the trash is a major inconvenience. And the same for general shopping travels. Having a parking garage is great but it can be difficult to transport things from the car to home. Sometimes temporary parking is available closer to my apartment but most times I have to make multiple LONG trips
These drawbacks wouldn't affect a single individual much but for a small family with kids it can be trying. For the amount of money I pay for my apartment I would expect less inconveniences.

Nice apartment

Relocated from another state, only had one day to secure housing before I had to return to the previous state. Looked at Desoto Town Center, applied and was accepted in 5 minutes. Moving in was some what hectic due to the building structure however staff was very helpful. Since living in these apartments I have had no major problems with noise however you should expect some noise due to the buildings being connected to the library, fitness center and civic center which typically has social functions being held. Parking is fairly good. You either park outside of the gate or inside of the gate. I have only had to park in the gate maybe three times in a year due to functions being held for the community. Maintenance is AWESOME Typically things are repaired in 24 hours of putting in the order online. During the summer time you get more traffic due to the children being out of school however it nothing unbearable. The previous negihbor above me tended to run marathons through their apartment in the morning however was not typically noisy at night. I would recommend these apartments to other people. Unfortunately due to obtaining a new job, I am relocating due to the ridiculous commute but would have renewed if the commute was not so bad. Hopes this helps you in your decision.

You on line lease is too long !!

Thin walls and high rent.

No privacy and high rent.

I enjoy living here.

Great environment for my children and easy access to shopping and restaurants.

The property has a great location and amenities, but some less than desirable tenants.

Its not perfect, but much nicer than other properties in the area.

Great staff Great apartments

Get moved into these apartments fast they are great

Nice Staff, Beautiful Layouts, Clean. But Rooms are small and walls are super thin.

Nice Staff, Beautiful Layouts, Clean.Rooms are small for price and noise is easily carried because walls are thin. I have someone above me, below me and on both sides and I can hear their every move<--- only negative attribute.

Overrated. Overpriced.

It is like livng in dorm. The walls are very thin. You can here your neighbors conversations clearly through the walls and any noise in the hallways. They take shortcuts on the interiors. The faucet for the kitchen sinks are too small and there is no sprayer. The floors are not well laid. The shower fixtures are extremely cheap. There are ongoing problems with ants.
I am already planning to move after only 5 months.
