Apartment Review from a Current Renter

The apartment is beautiful, safe and in a great location. Reasons I would not recommend the apartment is because there is no guest parking unless they pay, which makes it very inconvenient for people to visit, and the strict limitations on guests allowed in the pool/sky deck. The rules just make it very difficult to have visitors.

I think the building was overall poorly/cheaply constructed comparable to other rental properties at similar prices.

It is simply too loud. At times it is like living in a dormitory. The price is also very expensive without the original move in concessions. The only reason I would recommend this building is the location.

I'd let them know about the curfew restrictions and of course, 2 person max restriction as a drawback. Also, the fact that floor to ceiling windows makes the A/C and heating bill much higher - but most should already know that walking in. Otherwise, I'd recommend it.

The restrictions on guests are very stringent, especially for two/three bedroom units. It should be 2 guests per bedroom. Makes it very hard for roommate situations.

The views from some the apts. are fantastic. I feel very safe and feel the apt. tries very hard to maintain a professional and mature atmosphere.

Location, excellent amenities, high quality finishings.

If they can afford it and its a good match for their lifestyle.

See above - Great place, great staff, nice tenants, clean. 23rd floor could use improvements (see Question 2)- - I would hesitate to recommend this building if someone is looking for outstanding amenities -- it's not that we don't have them, just can't enjoy them for reasons listed in Question 2

Plus side-The views are amazing and the location is great. Windows are great. The rooftop is a big asset.
Negative side-Friends we brought here have chosen to live in South Austin to get lower rents.

Unless some of the items mention above can be changed, then I would not recommend this establishment to any of my family or friends.

I would like to be able to have more than 2 guests that can go up to the rooftop. It is quite amazing up there. There should be some way to reserve areas of the roof for parties. This is actually a huge issue for me, and I've spoken with a number of the other tenants who also agree. The building is also a little heavy handed on the security. There should be some kind of call box system installed so I can buzz guests up to my apartment. They already have a code to use the elevator. Having to email the front desk about a guest coming over is a little asinine, to be honest.
